We wake again to a day; sunny and gay,
thinking all will be the same.
But what we are unaware of
will soon bring us our dying day.
Outside our world there is another
Meridian, our world's unknown brother.
And as we wallow in our gain,
Meridian suffers in their pain.
Twelve years ago the darkness started
when the throne's true heir departed
and while we think all is well,
Meridian's heir is condemned to hell.
The veil is our only wall
to keep us from our soon-to-be fall
and as we think it doesn't matter
the veil itself will soon shatter.
Who will stop evil's rule
from sending ripples through our innocence pool?
