Disclaimer: I don't own Death Note.

This is my first fanfic and I'm only a 14-year-old girl from Germany who learns English in school. So, please, be nice!

And now much fun with this fanfiction!

Anything But Ordinary

Prologue

Twelve days. I counted. This is not human. How can a person actually get along without a toilet in twelve days? This just can't be. But well, I never insisted on L being human - or ordinary.

It all began whith that boring meeting, which was exacactly the same like all the others. It was discussed how to find Kira - or me for sure - and which information we already had. They, I mean. After a few hours in a sleep-like state, I began to search for something interesting in that always the same looking hotelroom, our meeting usually took place. After some time of searching, my gaze came to rest on this particular person. L, or Ryuzaki. I don't mean that I think he's interesting or appealing, but I thought observing him might help me to find out something to finally distroy him.

So there he sat. Knees up to his chin, one hand lying on top of one of them, one over his head, holding a cup, where the rest of his over-sugared coffee was dripping onto his tongue. And all of that, without really sitting down. He balanced just on his feet on that squashy favourit armchair of his. His bearing was that bad and abnormal. But his sense of balance was extraordinary.

How could this be? I knew that sense of balance and bearing were both controled by the cerebellum. And this could be good or bad. Not both to the same time, could it?

This somehow shocked me. I always relyed on the many things I had learned.

From that moment I decided to observe Ryuzaki to see how it brain worked. And to gain the information I needed to kill him. 'Cause he still was my archenemy.
