Leon glanced at the girl, the extra load he was carrying, with a sigh. Troublesome girl, he thought, a bit aggravated. Did she really have to destroy that thing herself? Didn't I say that I would be the one to destroy it?! And now look, she's out like a light!
Now Leon looked over with annoyance at Mormo, who was trailing faithfully and trying not to laugh. Why was he laughing? Hadn't it been Mormo to suggest that he carry her home piggy-back style? I could have just up and left, Leon thought sourly, and then where would he be!? Nowhere!
"Hnm…" Leon stopped, startled, and looked at the sleeping girl. She murmured some more, like she was asleep and not knocked out, then tightened her grip on Leon's neck. Gah! What is she doing?!
Seeing this, Mormo gave up and let out a spurt of laughter. Leon turned his icy glare at him. Unfazed, Mormo continued to chuckle. "Come on, Leon! Lighten up a bit! Aren't you the least bit worried about her?"
"I was worried, as I seem to recall trying to wake her up-"
"Desperately!"
"Whatever. I was worried, now I'm not, especially since she's choking me to death!!"
Mormo blinked at Leon, obviously surprised at his unusual outburst, then started laughing uncontrollably. "I think some one likes her!" he said in a sing-song voice.
"Oh yeah? What about you and Kanonno?"
"Leave Kanonno out of this!"
"And yet, you aren't denying the fact!"
"Neither are you!" Damn.
Leon turned with a "Humph!" and continued walking, ignoring Mormo until they reached the gates of Doplund.
"If you mention any of this to anyone, I will hunt you down and kill you," Leon said evenly, once again glaring at Mormo.
"O-okay…"
"No one!" Leon said forcefully, "Especially her." He nodded his over his shoulder to where her head lay resting. "Got it?"
"Got it!" Mormo squeaked, rushing ahead.
Good, Leon thought, smiling a bit and continuing his walk towards the guild.
Unbeknownst to him, the girl smiled against his shoulder.

A/N: This is supposed to be after you rescue Leon and destroy one of Gilgilum's nodes(that's the "thing" in the first paragraph). Mormo states that Leon "cheered you on!", and I think deep down inside, Leon's a real softy! XP Poor Leon... I hope I didn't make him too OOC. He sorta spazzed out. But I figure he feels that Mormo doesn't count as a real person, and the girl is asleep... That's another thing. The Girl is supposed to be my character in the game, or any other female Terresian Descender. I just think it would be really cute if this did happen... except it would be sort of akward for Leon to give a piggy-back to the boy characters... sweatdrop Oh well. Also, there's sorta a hint of Kanonno x Mormo. I know, you're probably thinking wtf? But I think the two sorta go good with each other... (I mean, if mormo actually had a human body maybe?) So there's my explanation of this sorta wacky piece. . R&R!
