Hello is Failing Wings, I hope you like my story.

Disclaimer: I own nothing except Helena and Marina

...

All I wished was for something interesting to happen, not get transported to one of those weird picture book worlds that Marina talked about! Stupid remote didn't change the channel I wanted it to now I'm stuck here...wherever here is. Oh wait you have no idea what I'm going on about, I'll tell you.

...

It was the same as any old day. I wake up to my little brother screeching in my ear, shove him into my dresser. He screams, my mom screams at me, I go to school without breakfast, and then Marina gives me a pop tart in Homeroom.

"You know Lena you shouldn't depend on me for food, for all you know I might get a cold or something and then you won't get your pop tart," Marina advised me as if I cared, after realizing I didn't care she went back to reading whatever manga series she brought to school today. It was called Death something or other. But that doesn't matter what matters is how I would watch T.V. today after this morning.

"Hey Mar can I come over to your house after school? I hear theres going to be a show involving cute baby animals," I trailed off knowing Marina couldn't resist the idea of cute lion cubs.

"Fine just don't throw the remote at the T.V. again," then her expression turned darkly amused "After all a portal to another world might just open up." We both laughed at the joke but stopped when the teacher came in. A perfectly normal school day, until it ended.

...

"Hey don't jump over the sofa," called Marina halfheartedly as I did so to get into a comfortable lounge position. Ignoring her I turned the T.V. on, it was speaking in some weird language(AN: Poor Helena can't find the differences between Japanese other languages.) and some title thing was going.

"Oh! Today is the Death Note marathon, keep it on that channel while I get us some Cheetos," Marina said leaning on the couch over my head. I grunted which she took for an agreement. I watched with mild interest, the music was nice though I understood none of it. I looked at the window and opened it letting the October air in. When I went back on the left side of the screen was a guy writing extravagantly, while on the other side some guys were falling over holding their chests. Then it closed up on the guy who had been writing's eyes.

I decided to turn the channel after all those baby animals weren't going to watch themselves, and I heard there was a special on panda babies. So after finding the remote under the couch cushions and resting my backpack on my stomach comfortably. I proceeded to try and change the channel. Try key word.

"Stupid remote! Work already," I shouted hurling the remote at the T.V. Then the screen turned white blinking back and forth from the show in the odd language and white. I stayed quite, mesmerized by the shining lights. Then it engulfed me.
