Chapter 1-Yesterday seemed like it had never happened
Yesterday seemed like it had never happened. Harry still was in thought that Voldemort was still alive and he had never killed him, that Tonks and Lupin never died, or Fred for that matter. Then it hit him, as he was lying there in his bed with people all over on the floor and two or more in the beds in the Gryffindor common room. The sun was shining brightly; people were waking up just like him. For the first time in a while the feelings of not being hunted down seemed like a miracle to him. The thought of being able to walk around freely with out people going to take him. It was wonderful.
But then the thought, the picture of Tonks, Fred, Lupin, all dead, and more around hit him as hard. It killed him to know that for what happened had a cost to be paid. Though all this was an emptiness inside of him there was still something that was not quite right something that still, he did not know, something that would hopefully soon come to him but right know, Ron was yelling to him,
"Harry come on I'm starving" yelled Ron
"Ron and his stomach" thought Harry
"Are you coming or what" Ron said in a playful manner
"Alright Ron, I'm coming, but seriously can't you just take in this beautiful morning of knowing that Voldemort is finally dead, and you have Hermione" said Harry climbing out of bed and seeing the fresh Robes that Kreecher had brought him.
"Yes that is a happy thought isn't it, and I do have Hermione, and you Ginny" Ron sighed "You, Ginny, I shiver at the thought"
"So does that you mean you approve of us" said Harry getting into his robes
"Fine, yes, ok, I guess" Ron said kinnda of quietly getting dressed
"Ron… are you ok?" Harry asked
"Ya just remembered that Fred is no longer there and neither Tonks or Lupin" Ron said sitting down on the bed
Harry walked over to him and put a hand on his back and said "I'm really sorry about Fred, and I know, I'm going to miss them all too"
Harry and Ron finished getting dressed and headed down to the common room. All of a sudden a crashing hug came down over Ron and then another pair of arms around Harry. Getting over from all the shock, Ron looked up and saw Hermione and her bushy hair and relized that she was the one giving him the hug, hugged her back.
Harry was so surprised by the ambush just hugged the on whose arms were around him without knowing who it was until she let go. Ginny looked up and the big Hazel eyes of hers were looking into his, he never so good, being with the girl he loved and the man who wanted him dead for so long is now finally dead. But he still had that feeling of emptiness inside him and not of the death that had been part of him but this something that he could not quite his finger on. He then realized that Ginny had walked over and sat on one of the couches and went over and took a seat next to a red eyed Mrs. Weasley and a sorrow looking George.
All he could say to them was how sorry he was for their loss, George said thank you and said
"Harry thank you for killing Vo-Volde- Voldemort" he finally sputtered out
"Still getting used to saying his name without people coming after yea aye Harry"
"Ya George" said Harry "I still can't believe it myself"
"Should be go down to the Great Hall for some wonderful breakfast shall we?" asked Mrs. Weasley
"YES PLEASE" shouted the room filled with Weasleys, Hermione, and Harry
So they descended to the Great Hall for Some breakfast
