Sam's POV
It was the year 2487 and the earth had fallen to the dinosaurs. In the year 2021 InGen had recreated all known dinosaur species for the bioweapons program. But the idiots were cheap with the cages and they all broke out and it marked the beginning of what was known as the dino wars.
Finally, it came to an end in the year 2034 after 13 years of fighting for survival. The remaining governments of the world came together to build massive space ships to leave the planet.
For the next 114 years we drifted through space heading towered alpha centauri where humanity started over. Over the next 300 odd years it was peaceful but I was fascinated by earth and me being from an old rich family and basically a robot after an accident when I was 4 years old.
So, I was a humanoid dragon because my parents were huge dragon fans and designed my new body like this. After I bought up avatar equipment and a custom-made fury class starship.
I bought up all kinds of dinosaur DNA and started to clone various dinosaur avatars. I left sentinel for earth hoping to learn more about how my ancestors lived.
I walked into the avatar room where all but my velociraptor avatar was in cryogenic stasis. All avatars only have basic functions like keeping the heart beating and lungs inflating or digesting food. It can't eat or relieve itself without its pilot. Though the omni tool can control it for basic stuff so I don't need to directly link to it for the basic stuff.
I walked up to my raptor avatar. A six-and-a-half-foot tall void black scaled velociraptor. My name is Samuel but my friends just call me Sam and my raptor avatar is named Shadow because of its black scales.
"Eclipse, I'm going to enter my avatar I want you to keep an eye on the ship while I get used to walking around as a raptor!" I said as a hologram of a night fury appeared.
"Alright Sam I'll keep an eye on things while you get used to your new avatar" Eclipse replied
I got into the avatar controller and started up the linking process. The computer has a picture of my cybernetic brain and the organic brain of my raptor avatar.
Shadow's POV
I opened my eyes and took my first breath as a raptor. I tried to get up only to launch myself forwards.
"Ouch!" I yelp out hitting my muzzle on the floor
"that looked like it hurt" Eclipse said laughing hysterically
"Shut up!" I mumbled getting back up my belly
"I can't understand you. you know, that right?" Eclipse said
I just gave him the finger. "aww that's cute. Your trying to give me the finger. That doesn't work so well when you only got three talons now, does it?" Eclipse said cooing at me
It took me a while but I had finally got up on my legs and started walking around. After a while I got the hang of walking around like a raptor. Only after a few more face plants with eclipse laughing his ass off.
