Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter or anything related to it. I wish I did, but I don't.

It was pouring. No, that was an understatement. It was like a continuous waterfall.

"Oh God, I really don't want to pass through that," says Kelsey. I give her look she knew oh too well.

"What! My hair will frizz up!" I simply roll my eyes and grab her hand.

"On the count of three. One…Two…Three!" We begin to run across the courtyard, yelling in both excitement and fear. Well my screams are more of excitement while hers are most out of fear.

Somehow through the impossible rain, I see a figure. One that looks a lot like Cedric Diggory. I let go of Kelsey's hand and stare at the figure through the rain.

"Aren't you coming?!" Kelsey yells.

"I'll be right there." With that said she quickly continues to run. I, on the other hand make my way to Cedric, who is under a tree.

"Cedric?" I have to practically yell over the rain. He turns around to face me and I notice that his eyes are red.

"Cedric, what's wrong?" I know it isn't my place but I ask anyway. He somehow manages a smile.

"Look at you Casey, you must be freezing." And I was. The only think I had covering my torso was a simple button down. Noticing my slight shivering, Cedric takes off his sweater and gives it to me. I smile and put it on.

"Thank you," I said. Together, we continue to look out at the rain.

"I like it when it rains," he said. I take a step closer to him.

"I do too, but this is a bit ridiculous, no?" We both laugh at the comment.

"She would have liked it," he says.

I can't help myself but ask, "who?"

"My mum. She would have thought it was some greater message from the Gods." I look him in the eyes.

"Well, your mother makes a good point."

Then there is only silence.

"How's the sweater?" He asks.

"Perfectly warm," I respond and I swear that I see him blush.

"Well it doesn't look like this is going to calm any time soon. Wanna head inside?" He asks. He offers me his hand.

I smile and nod. I entwine my fingers with his and together we go and run through the rain.
