A/N: Welcome to the first chapter of Pirates and Snow! Each chapter will be an unrelated short, probably never much longer than the one below. All will feature characters from both One Piece and Wind Whisperers, and I take requests!
"You're such a small thing," muses Crocodile, tilting his head to the side as he looks down at Mitsuru.
Mitsuru blinks, confused, looks up at the mob boss with wide eyes. "What?"
"I said that you're very small," repeats Crocodile, one large hand moving to capture Mitsuru's own. It all but dwarfs it, easily able to wrap around it completely. "Fragile, even. I admit that I worry I'm going to break you, sometimes."
"You won't break me," says Mitsuru, reaching up to rest cold fingers against Crocodile's cheek. "I know you're more careful then that."
