: The Awakening/Encounter It was a regular day as Sonic The Hedgehog was running through an open field,in the middle of nowhere. The 'Blue Blur' known as Sonic let a happy sigh escape his lips.''Man I wish everyday could be like this!'' he exclaimed happily. As you can probally tell Sonic enjoys running earning him the name 'The fastest thing Alive'. Sonic has been running non stop since he gained control from 'him'. He stopped arubtly at the thought of him. His wicked yellow smile, his frightning laugh,and finally those haunting red and black eyes. He pushed him out of his head and the haunting memories he brought with him. After the 'incedent' he was forgiven and he made sure to apoligize to everyone who fell victom. He let a shaky sigh escape lisps as he decided to call it a day and ran back home. He slammed the door but calmly walked and plopped down on his couch. He started shaking a little surprised that he even crossed his thoughts. It was getting late and he decided to hit the hay and go to sleep. As he did he had a dream of something he didn't expect. It was him...and Shadow?! That shocked him,because he's never dreamt about Shadow before. In his dream he almost had a nose bleed,Shadow was standing in front of him in a white dress that stopped at his knees,white baby doll shoes and a small one button white jacket. Then Sonic looked him self he was wearing a white suit and white male dress up shoes. Suddenly he heard Shadow say ''Catch me if you can!'' and ran off though not at lightning speed as he expected him to. Sonic laughed and chased after him not going too fast and yet not too slow. Sonic was laughing along with then without him noticing the sky turned from shimmering white to pure black. When Sonic looked up that's when he noticed that the sky turned from white to black. Suddenly they were in a meadow the sky still being black,but there was lush green grass with flowers a big hollow tree and a …... Sonic couldn't believe his eyes it was a pitch black lake. He noticed Shadow was running towards it. ''Shadow no wait! STOP!'' Sonic yelled desperately. ''He's going to die...or...at least try to.'' A voice whispered to him. Sonic snapped back to reality and ran to Shadow as fast as he could. But the thing was...he wasn't going anywhere. And before he knew what happened Shadow jumped in the lake with a splash. ''no..no..NOOOO!'' Sonic exclaimed as he fell to his knees and cried. Then he felt a cold wet hand on his shoulder,he turned and saw Shadow,his beautiful white dress was dirty,ripped,and had holes at the bottom. His shoes were scruffed and dirtied. When he opened his eyes,his once beautiful but dangerous ruby eyes were now scarlet his eyes bloodshot as if he'd been crying. '' Y-you...*sniff* didn't protect m-me.'' Was all he said before he let out a blood curling scream and vanished. Sonic's eyes snapped open as he screamed. His emerald green eyes met beautiful ruby ones.
