Are You Sure?
"Are you sure about this?" the man whispered questioning into the other's ear. He gulped awaiting further instructions.
"As sure as I'll ever be. Throw the switch!" the other exclaimed, and he complied. He pulled the switch, and there was a quick flash of light temporarily blinding them. A humming pursued as their eyes quickly got used to the dimness, and the object in front of them clicked. It ticked for a while, and then all was silent. It stirred. "It works…" he mumbled out.
"Voice recognition. Identifying… Yunho." The voice that rang out was monotonous and very chilling. Slits shimmered upon the human-like head. The head turned side to side with its soulless eyes scanning the area. It happened to stop upon the other human being. "Identifying… JaeJoong." Yunho walked up to the machine cautiously.
"You will be addressed as Changmin. I will now do a system check to make sure that everything is calibrated correctly." Changmin did not respond, so Yunho took the initiative to grab a screwdriver. He approached Min, and he was suddenly captured by his collar.
"Threat detected. Engaging combat." JaeJoong gasped from where he stood and at once ran to the Yunho's computer.
Yunho shouted at the top of his lungs at Changmin, "Disengage. I am not an enemy. Disengage!" Changmin showed no signs of the command being submitted for still he grasped Yunho's collar slowly lifting him off his feet. JaeJoong typed frantically typed into the computer trying to override the command that was now being done. Changmin still showed no signs of stopping, and suddenly Yunho was thrown against the wall. He groaned loudly before crumpling to the floor fainting from the agonizing pain he felt. JaeJoong hearing a loud thud looked up seeing this with his very eyes. He grabbed the emergency command module and ran out trying to escape. He typed fiercely while being pursued by the ever advancing Changmin. Changmin was so close, that it was very frightening to him. When he looked up, JaeJoong was trapped. There was nowhere else to run. He backed up into the wall laughing hysterically. Changmin paused apparently trying to identify the sudden noise emitting from JaeJoong's mouth.
"Identifying sound… error. Not found in database." JaeJoong took this momentary pause as an opportunity. He entered the last words needed to short Changmin out. He finally pressed enter. Changmin stared at him and reached for him slowly. Shockingly, his arm fell off. Changmin tried using the other arm, but it too fell off. JaeJoong watched with relief as Changmin fell apart turning once again to the pile of rubble he started as. JaeJoong sighed and laughed once more.
"Thank god, it's over." He made his way back to the crumpled Yunho and called an ambulance. When it came, he accompanied Yunho to the hospital.
