Me: I was inspired. Yeah… I'm gonna update my stories soon… Sorry for the wait… I'm also sorry that this author's note sounds awkward…

I OWN NADA. NAOW READ DIS STOREH.
Ah the wonders of bad spelling.
"Want you to make me feel, like I'm the only girl in the woooorld! Like I'm the only one that you'll ever loooooove! Like I'm the only one who knows your heeeeeaaaaarrrrt! OOOOOOONLY GIRL IN THE WOOOOOOOORLD!"
Duncan groaned and smashed his head against his car's steering wheel as Courtney belted out the last verse of Rihanna's new song, Only Girl (In the World). He made a big show of pretending to choke himself, gagging, and pulling on his hair throughout the song though she only noticed his 'subtle' displays of annoyance because of the loud "BEEP" of the car horn.
She turned towards him and scowled. "Do you have a problem with my singing?"
He lifted his mohawk-clad head to look at her. "No, your voice is great, the song sucks."
Courtney gave him a small smile which quickly faded, "Why don't you like the song? Because it's not filled with screeching guitars and middle aged men screaming like angry five year olds?"
"No." He returned her glare with one of his own, "I hate the lyrics."
Courtney seemed shocked. "You listen to lyrics?"
"Yeah," Duncan raised an eyebrow, "Why wouldn't I?"
"Hmm." She blinked, as if she still didn't believe him, "You just don't seem like the type."
The red light that they couple was stopped at turned green, and Duncan stepped on the gas to move on. The rode in silence until Courtney decided to continue the argument.
"So what's your problem with the lyrics?" she asked, drumming her fingers on the dashboard.
Duncan glanced at her and shrugged. "She sounds so demanding. Make me feel like I'm the only girl in the world? That's a lot of pressure. It's annoying."
"That's what I want from a relationship." Courtney crossed her arms over her chest and let out an annoyed 'hmmph', to let him know that he was currently falling short of those expectations.
He suddenly pressed an index finger to her lips and shushed her. "Do you hear that? That's the sound of a million eligible guys, running away in terror."
Courtney's scowl grew and she shrunk down in her seat. "I don't see you running."
"That is because I'm stupid." He tapped his own lip for a moment and added, "And crazy. I'm crazy too."
"Crazy?"
"Yeah, crazy. Crazy about you."
Courtney rolled her eyes and smirked. "You sure know how to make a girl feel special."
Ignoring the sarcasm dripping off her voice, he draped his arm over her shouder and said, "Yeah, I do."
"Mmmhmm." Her smirk grew, "Like the OOOOONLY GIRL IN THE WOOOOOOOORLD!"

Me: Meh, more upbeat than my usual writing. I like the ending though. I sing to annoy people all the time XD
