X.A.N.A'S Return
The five of them, six if you counted kiwi, stood outside the gate to kadic academy looking over the grounds thinking about their past adventures, Odd thinking about his first trip to Lyoko, Ulrich thinking about the time X.A.N.A reversed gravity on the school ground and nearly killed him and his parents, yumi of the time X.A.N.A materialized krabs and Ulrich saved her and her family, and Jeremie and Aileta were both thinking of how they came to meet.
They saw Jim Morales their phys. Ed teacher and Susanne hertz their science teacher on their way to pick up their schedules. Yet, even though they knew that X.A.N.A was dead and the supercomputer was off they just couldn't shake the feeling something bad was about to happen.
"Welcome, students, to yet another year at kadic academy" said principal delmas over the loud speaker "yeah, a X.A.N.A free year, I thought I'd be turning into a big purple cat until I was eighty before Einstein would get rid of X.A.N.A for good" said odd, while delmas said something about an exchange student.
"really, I loved going to lyoko" Ulrich said laughing at the memory of odd on lyoko with his cat ears and the picture of kiwi peeing on his chest, while odd said "that's easy for you to say, you were a samurai not a cat".
"Oh come on guys you realize you are now arguing about something that technically doesn't exist" said Jeremie while aileta tried to smile but started tearing up "oh there, there aileta it's okay your dad sacrificed himself so we wouldn't have to fight anymore".
They kept talking amongst themselves while delmas spoke until the door to the gym opened and a young looking boy ran in awkwardly carrying a large army backpack screaming "SORRY, SORRY I'M SO SORRY I'M LATE IT WAS TRAFFIC" he was breathing really heavy as though it was something other than just traffic that held him back.
"And just what is your name young man" asked delmas. The boy answered "my name is Ethan sir, Ethan ledgister, and I am the exchange student from Canada". And just as this was said at school on every computer screen in the world, for a very brief two seconds a symbol only six people and one dog knew off by heart, a strange red eye, the eye of X.A.N.A.
