It was eight A.M. when Hermione was awoken at the Burrow by swear words being shouted out below her. She groggily got out of bed and slipped on her bathrobe and slippers before sleepily making her way towards the bottom floor of the tall house.

On her way down, she met several others, also in bathrobes and slippers, heading down to see what all the fuss was about. She walked with them, talking as genially as she could so early in the morning, before they all realized that they had reached, what looked somewhat like, the bottom floor of the Burrow.

"Fred Weasley! I swear on Godric Gryffindors' grave, if you ever destroy the bottom of my home like this again…" Molly Weasley was yelling.

Hermione took a brave step forward, and felt Harry's and Ron's hands on her shoulders, trying to hold her back. She shook them off, and shot them both dirty looks over her shoulder.

"Mrs. Weasley," Hermione began.

"What!" Molly shrieked. She threw her hands up when she saw who it was. "Hermione, dear. I'm so sorry. I didn't know it was you. Forgive me?"

Hermione nodded slightly and turned to look at Fred who was eyeing her. "Mrs. Weasley, whatever Fred has done I'll personally make sure he cleans and pays for all the damage."

Molly looked slighted by the though of her prankster son cleaning and paying for the things he had broken in her house. "Hermione, that would be way to much trouble. Perhaps, we can arrange a different place for him to sleep at night?"

Hermione thought carefully about this. Fred was a close family friend and he was in need of a new place to stay as George was betrothed to Angelina.

"He can stay with me, at my apartment in Wales," Hermione said hesitantly. She looked over at Fred who was glaring at her.

Molly looked delighted at this new situation. "Why thank you. If you ever need anything, you just Floo and I'll get one of the others to bring whatever you need."

Hermione nodded and looked back at Ron and Harry to gauge their reactions.

Ron was choking back laughter while Harry was wanting to say something but couldn't seem to find the right words.

" Go ahead Harry," Hermione said, gently.

"Well, it's to be expected." Harry said, " Because you are getting married,"

Molly's eyes, popped out of her head. "What?"

Fred smiled at his long-time girlfriend and now fiancé. "That's right Mum. Did all this just to tell you I'd be the next Weasley to be leaving the Burrow next."

Molly pulled her tall son down into a hug.

Fred struggled to get back up and when he did, he walked over to where Hermione was standing with her friends.

Ron tapped him on the shoulder.

"If you hurt her, I'll be even scarier than Mum was this morning,"

Harry nodded in agreement.
