A/N: This was gonna part of my story until Maul reappeared in Rebels. Basically this is what I say would have happened after he was defeated by Sidious. Takes place after 'Revenge Of The Sith'.

STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS UNLEASHED

The Death Of Maul

Courascant docks

Late evening

The Rouge Shadow II docked stealthily and two figures exited. Two gunships docked alongside it. Galen and Ahsoka lowered their hoods as the Gregor and his men joined them.

"Load as many crates as you can." Galen told the clones. "It won't be long before the Empire figures out we're here."

Suddenly they were surrounded. Cody and Ghost Company had been waiting for them.

"Stop right there traitors." Cody said.

"Suck laser!" Gregor shouted and started shooting with his DC-17m repeating blaster.

Galen and Ahsoka ducked behind some crates.

"Gregor, we can't win this!" Galen said. "Take what we already have and get the hell out of here! I'll buy time. Ahsoka you're with them. Meet me at the rendezvous point in one week."

Galen drew his lightsaber and jumped from, behind the crates and began cutting down clones. Ahsoka was suddenly beside him. "I'm staying with you."

Gregor and his men made their escape as Galen and Ahsoka made easy work of Ghost Company. Cody and the remaining members fled.

"Let's get out of here." Ahsoka said.

Galen nodded then froze. They both heard it, a mechanical breathing sound that turned their blood to ice. Not Vader's, it was even more sinister.

"Ahsoka, run."

"What?"

"Take the Rouge Shadow and get the hell out of here!"

"I'm not leaveing!"

"You can't handle this… thing…"

"…you better come back." She got on the Rouge Shadow and Galen faced his new adversary. Then he saw it. Sinister armor painfully grafted to the wearer's skin and bone, it's face hidden by a mask. He paled as he realized who it was. Blood red skin with black tattoos and several horns atop his head.

"Maul." Galen whispered. "What has he done to you?"

Maul didn't answer and drew his red lightsaber.

Galen drew his second lightsaber and took the reverse shien stance before he and Maul charged each other.

They entered a saber lock instantly. Maul was very strong but so was Galen. They grappled but neither seemed able to get the other hand. Galen broke the lock and countered with a repulse. Then he charged forward with lightning charged attack.

Maul was knocked back but quickly got back up with lightning still arcing off of him. He drew his darksaber and charged Galen.

It wasn't often Galen faced someone who could match his speed and strength. This wasn't like his fight with PROXY on Raxus Prime. This Maul was more vicious, a true killing machine.

He's not even really alive anymore… which means I don't have to hold back.

"Rhaa!" Galen shouted and shot lightning at Maul.

He screamed inhumanly as Galen electrocuted him. He hit the ground and before he could recover Galen stabbed him. He took up the darksaber as her left.

He made his towards one of the speeders and stole it. Vader can't stop me now. No one can.
