She was her song; a beautiful melody that never ceases. Porcelain skin like she was a ceramic doll. Crimson, that is what she fell in love with. Every morning she would gaze into the other woman's eyes and fall in love all over again. It wasn't just coincidence; it had been fate that led Lucy to Flare. It was a blessing of a divine to have such a becoming woman.
During the midst of the night; in the glow of the moon when the scarlet haired woman's back was to Lucy it was almost as if there was an outline of a pair of wings. A delicate, demure angel wearing a facade of a sinner; that is what Flare was to her.
Her scent was one that was cinnamon; sweet as well as spicy. The crimson-eyed woman's personality could rival that of her aroma. She was a treasure chest waiting to be found, and at last Lucy had found her. The blonde could feel the warmth and love beating within her lover's heart. Their souls were dancing to the same beat.
Flare was Lucy's muse; an inspiration to keep living no matter what had happened. Her life was in debt to the bashful young woman. She had a reason to keep fighting; it was so that she could come home and feel the warmth that she had been longing. If this was a dream the blonde would never choose to wake up. Her life wasn't complete, that may be true. It's because there is still a whole life time ahead of them.
"Now as I lay here beside your sleeping form, I can hear the small breaths that escape your parted lips. You're an angel in disguise, and there isn't anything that would make me think otherwise. Let go of your sorrow for there is a life time full of experiences that you will miss. The past is behind us, and a new dawn approaches. This ineffable love I have for you cannot be contained. You are my other half. That's all I know. "
Rising out of bed, the blonde's lithe fingers curled around the parchment. It wasn't until she noticed the first rays of dawn that she had realized that she had been up all night. Cautiously Lucy moved about the room to get ready for the day. Sleep usually never possesses her during the day, so she could wait until night had fallen again. Looking over at the sleeping form a small smile tugged at the corners of her lips. Even though the room wasn't too bright, Lucy could see the faint outline of wings against Flare's back.
Hello everyone! I know it's short, but I hope you enjoy it. For now this will be a one-shot unless I get a request to work on this more. I have an idea in mind I just need the support. Thank you everyone!
