Grissom's and Sara's wedding with a twist!

The Wedding

He took her hands in his. She stared up at him, eyes filled with emotion. Their eyes locked and they forgot about the room full of people they stood before. They only saw each other and that's all that mattered. Their love!

As he read out his vows to love and to honor her, in sickness and in health, tears fell down her cheeks, one by one. His voice filled with emotion as he went on to talk about the first day he met her and how he loved her ever since. After he was done, he took the ring from his best man and set it on her finger. He then gave her hands a squeeze and brought them up to his lips, kissing them softly.

It was her turn now; she was nervous.

Sara closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Come on Sara, you can do this! Don't freak out now! Just look him in the eyes and tell him how you feel, forget about everyone else. It's just you and him! At this, Sara opened her eyes and stared in to Grissom's deep blue ones. This gave her all the confidence she needed. She opened her mouth and began to speak.

"Gil, you complete me. You make me feel whole. I really didn't know what it was like to be loved until I met you." Sara licked the bottom of her lips before continuing on.

"You never seemed to give up on me, when everyone else had. You were there for me when I had fallen into a deep, dark mess. You were there with your hand out to me, pulling me to safety.

"You are my savor, my knight in shining armor. Without you by my side, I don't know where I would be. I love you, I love you, I love you with all my heart and more!" Sara spoke these words very slowly and carefully. Her eyes were bright with tears, as she looked up at the man she loved. He smiled back at her, he too was losing it.

"I will honor and be true to you everyday of my life. I take you to be my husband, Gil!" finished Sara, smiling. She took the ring and placed it on his finger.

The groom and bride both looked up at the minister, who was a balding old man with a gentle smile. He looked at the two of them, and then at their guests. "I am now pride to announce Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Brook to you all!" spoke the minister raising his arms.

"You may kiss the bride!"

With that, Sara came out of her day dream and stood up with the rest of the crowd and clapped as Charlie, her cousin, shared a kiss with his bride, Fiona.
