Yet another drabble. I'm the drabble girl, huh? I've been a looooooooong time without writing so I don't know if I whould write long fics again, what if I don't finish them? Oh well.
Anyway, I wrote this for my little Yaonyan/Eli, Chinese Colored 3 I hope she likes it! .. Ok I know she does, she just read it~ This is a very simple drabble with a very simple theme but... so cute~ (yeah, I like this one...)
Once again, I don't own Hungary nor Austria, much to my regret. If I had Austria he'd have to share my room with Russia and Sweden too D
Anyway enjoy~! And one of these days i'll get reviews xD
FLOWERS
Elizaveta ran though streets full of flowers with a puzzled Austrian being pulled behind her. She didn't give him any explanations; she just grabbed him and started zigzagging across stands of flowers.
- Come on, we have to hurry!
Roderich panted slightly as Elizaveta tugged… no, dragged him away from home. He didn't know where she was heading or what the meaning of this was. She had been acting strange lately though. Too nervous, too clumsy. Austria couldn't understand why, and as much as he asked her, he would get no response.
- I'm, fine, Austria-san, - she'd say with a smile, tilting her head and going back to her labors.
He looked round while trying to follow Hungary's pace. The flower market. She loved it. But why the rush? Why so sudden? A thousand different smells converged in the air, new fragrances flowing freely. People smiled and laughed, buying and selling. Some strident modern music filling the air to Roderich's disgust.
- Ah, don't worry about that, Aus-Roderich! – she corrected herself automatically. There was no need to let people know about their true identities, right? As if they'd believe it, anyway... – Time passes and… everything changes.
She reduced the speed of her steps and grabbed the brunette's arm, smiling. To Roderich's relief, the car passed by, leaving the market in peace again, just with the sounds of the people there.
- Why the rush, Elizaveta? – he asked finally. She looked down and her cheeks gained a little bit of color.
- Hm, just wanted to have a walk with you... It's been a long time since we... did this. Just walking around the flower market.
To be honest, yes, but... he had a feeling that there was something missing.
And there he saw it. At the end of one of the tiniest street: a small, warm stand, crowded with flowers colored in pastel tones. Roderich smiled almost immediately. So that was it. He eyed Elizaveta: she was flushing slightly, looking away, but he could feel she had a tiny roguish smile on her face. He placed his arm around her waist and brought her close.
- Do you want a flower, milady?
She blushed furiously. He took her to the stand. How could she be so shy sometimes? He smiled and picked a pastel pink flower. Just like the first time... Roderich paid for it, even when the women wanted to give it to Elizaveta for free.
- Tell me… how is it that this stand is still here, even if… how many years?
- Hmm… - she giggled. – I don't know? Maybe… it was meant to be this way.
He looked into her green eyes, adorning her beautiful hair with the flower. Just like the first time. Just like when they were just kids and she confessed she was a girl. Just like their first date. Just like right before they got married. Just like so many times… and it still felt the same. The same twitch in his stomach. The same butterflies flying around hers.
- Ich liebe dich, - he whispered softly.
She looked into his eyes and smiled, pulling him close to kiss those fleshy lips she so loved.
- Szeretlek, Roderich Edelstein...
