THANKYOU GUYS SOOO MUCH IF U VIEW THIS PLEASE REVIEW Hours. Hours spent on him, crying, thinking this pain would never end. Annabeth had done this countless times. She remembered staying up thinking about him, then going to his cabin and wearing his sweatshirt. That was the only thing that got her to sleep. Really, that was the only thing that kept her sane. She remembered telling Percy's mom, Sally. Sally had to comfort Annabeth instead of the other way around. Annabeth had never really had a stable realtionship-she thought she had had one with Luke but he ended up disregarding her, like an old forgotten toy. Just like everyone else, except for him.
He had been there for her when things had gone wrong. He had been there when her world fell apart. He was her rock. The one thing she could count on every time she needed to talk. Now he was gone. Zap. Just like that he was gone, like a leaf in the wind. Annabeth barely got through the day without knowing where he was, or if he was even alive. That was what scared her the most. What if he died? When Jason came and they figured out Hera's plan, it helped Annabeth a great deal. But, there was also the thought of him finding someone new. She thought their love was strong. But what if? What if, what if, kept bouncing around in her head.
Standing on the deck of the Argo ||, her hands started to shake with nerves. In truth, the only things she had done the past couple of months was work, train, eat, and sleep. Sleeping was hard knowing that every second, every minute could be used with finding Percy. Her minutes were used on useless things like food and sleep. Well, useless to her, it seemed that Leo and everyone else couldn't get enough of it.
Jason, calling her, shook her out of her trance. "Annabeth we're almost there. Prepare." Those few words had her heart racing. When the camp and crowd came into view, Annabeth was searching through the crowd for that familar figure. The one who she was madly in love with. Finally! She had found the beautiful seaweed green eyes, that she had been yearning to see for so long. She almost wanted to jump off the railing, but then she saw the weapons the Romans had and stopped herself. Feeling the ship land, Annabeth couldn't contain all of her emotions.
With all her will, hope, and love she prayed to each and every one of the Gods. Praying they would not let him forget her. When her feet hit the Roman soil she could feel the difference already. Pushing her way through the crowds, she finally met that ONE person. Stopping in front of him she bit her lip, wondering what to do. That's when he pulled her into him and they kissed. She knew this sounded cliché but if the world was on fire she wouldn't have they pulled away she knew he remembered. He remembered everything, the quests, the pain, the friends, and the lost ones. She also knew he remembered the most important thing, he remembered her.
