A Talk Between a Sorcerer and the King

Back at the castle in Enchantica, Roland dismissed the charges against Cedric for the robbery at the museum. It was proven that the raven did steal the crown of Grinhide, but it went with a strange woman. Her wanted poster is all over the village and the kingdom.
In Cedric's workshop, Cedric sighs as he notices that the cage is empty. He went to grab a spell book to find a particular spell. He still has a raven feather to use for the spell. "Locatious Animalia", Cedric said out loud as he waves his wand on the feather.
As the spell is working, Cedric frowns as he sees his raven with the strange woman. He has a sad expression on his face as once faithful companion is with someone else.
"Cedric", King Roland said to Cedric as he walks in the workshop. He notices a tear coming down his face. "What's wrong"? Roland asks Cedric.
Cedric sighs as he looks at Roland. "Wormwood is with that woman. It was once my faithful companion, but now it went with her". Cedric said to Roland as he is upset about it.
Roland looks at Cedric as he feels bad for him. "If you makes you feel any better, I never like that bird anyways". Roland said to Cedric.
Cedric nods as he looks at Roland as he wipes his tears. "Thanks, Roland, I need to ask you something about Sofia". Cedric said to Roland.
Roland looks at Cedric as he curious about the question. "What kind of question"? Roland asks Cedric. He is not sure where this is going.
Cedric looks at Roland as he nods to him. "Do you think it is possible that Sofia knows about that woman"? Cedric asks Roland.
Roland looks at Cedric as it is a good question. He is not sure what to answer him. "It is possible. She did turn away from us for a few moments after the woman left. Come to think of it, Sofia looked like she was ready to fight that strange woman". Roland said to Cedric.
Cedric nods as he did notice that in her. "Do you think Sofia could be in serious danger of that woman"? Cedric asks Roland.
Roland looks at Cedric as it is a hard question. "I do not know Cedric. I do not want to lose her. At the same time, I almost lost you when you sacrificed yourself to save her". Roland said to Cedric.
Cedric nods as he looks at Roland. "Yeah I know, does Baileywick, Queen Miranda, Prince James, and Princess Amber know what I did"? Cedric asks Roland.
Roland nods as he looks at Cedric. "Yes they do. Baileywick said that he never knew that you have that in you do that for Sofia. James think it was awesome for what you did. Amber was worried about Sofia getting into that kind of danger and adventure. She is relieved about it. Miranda is relieved that you and Sofia are alright. I am also relieved about that as well". Roland said to Cedric.
Cedric nods as he has a smile on his face. "Thank you old friend", Cedric said to Roland.
Roland nods as he looks at Cedric. "Your welcome, perhaps you can pick a new animal as your companion as long it is not a cat or a raven". Roland said to Cedric.
Cedric nods as he looks at Roland. "I will consider it. Although it may take some time to think about it". Cedric said to Roland.
Roland nods as he looks at Cedric. "Take all the time you need Cedric". Roland said to Cedric. He leaves the workshop.
Cedric nods as he goes back to his work. "I wonder what kind of destiny do I have to the princess and the kingdom. One of these days Wormwood, you will be brought to justice even if you are an animal". Cedric said to himself as he looks at an empty cage.
End Story
This is just an one shot story. I watched the episode called In Cedric We Trust. It is a powerful episode. Plus I wonder what the conversation between Cedric and Roland would be like.
