"Jean!" He moved down the hall after removing his hat. His coat close behind, loosening his necktie releasing the days choke hold along with it.

She walked in with her look of "Yes, Dear?" on her face. He slumped down on to the sofa exhausted.

"Today was…a bit rough." He looked up at his wife and smiled, "I missed you," and he patted his lap.

She looked at him and asked, "Sidesaddle or astride?"

He laughed a hearty laugh. "I didn't know astride was even an option!"

She smirked, "I'd have thought you of all people," leaning down over him, placing her knees to each side of him, hiking her skirt, "would know it's my favorite option as of late."

Her hands in his hair and her nose nuzzling his cheek. "And I missed you too…." her kiss igniting a flurry of excitement to his weary bones.

"So…." her body pressing firmly against him. "….still tired?"

His hands slid up her exposed stocking holdups to her hips as he said, "Surprisingly," kissing her neck, "I've got my second wind." His fingers made to work on her blouse buttons as he mumbled against her skin.

"I redact my past complaint."

When he flipped her on the sofa and pinned her,

"I am fully aware and alert," Smiling into her touch.

"Yes….mmmm…yes, you are…"

How he adored his wife.
