THE SIMPSONS:

"THE SIMPSON BOY":

Chapter One:

"One Day On The Internet"

Bart Simpson, ten year old underachiever and proud of it, was surfing the web for information on a topic he had learned about in Science class the other day.

"Okay everyone," Mrs.Krapbell said. "Today we're going to learn about Virtual Reality also known as VR." she told the class. "Now then," she began. "Virtual Reality was first designed as a way to train military soldiers." she explained. "However, the idea of a virtual game was soon thought of and many tried to find a way to perfect the process." she continued as Bart listened which was something he normally never did. "Today, there are virtual tours of museums and virtual training programs for astronauts." she said just as the bell rang. "Class dismissed." she said. "And remember children there's more information about VR on the internet." she shouted as the kids ran out the door. "I'll have to check that out." Bart thought. As the idea strangely had caught his attention.

So here he was on the internet searching on Google when all of a sudden the words "VR Zone" caught his eyes. He clicked on it and suddenly the screen went dark. Then, a small 3D shape starting growing to take the form of a name. "Welcome to VR Zone." a voice said on the computer. "A virtual world that anyone can explore." the voice continued. "What is your name?" it asked. "I'm Bart Simpson. Who the hell are you?" Bart replied. "I am a VR guide." it said. "Come, click on the title to enter the virtual world." it told him. Bart did as exactly as it told and suddenly a 3D landscape came into view. "Cool, man." he exclaimed. "This is as far as you can go unfortunately." it said. "Aw, man!" Bart complained. "Unless you buy the virtual 3D glasses." it told him. "I'll have to ask my parents but I bet I can get em'." he said to the screen. "Good. Check back in a week." it said. Bart pushed the "escape" button and the screen went back to the Google search page. Bart turned off the computer and went up to his room to think about he was going to ask his parents to buy him those 3D glasses.
