The Key
Summary: A Key that could be for anything. Barbossa, who believes it will lead to the mythical 'Tree of Life' and Jack, who, in all natural fashion, thinks it lead to countless bottles of rum. With Davie Jones hunting them, will they be able to find the answer they seek?

Chapter 1: The Prelude
Captain Jack stared at the key in his hand again, having gazed upon the rustic surface multiple times already. It was an intricately designed tool and what puzzled him most was that the undead monkey dropped it from the sails. Jack thought it was another one of the monkey's tricks, but when he searched for the corresponding keyhole, he realised that there was no such lock on the ship.
He examined the copper key, staring intently at the sculpted handle that looked like a bronze dragon's tail wrapped a cylindrical shape. As he twisted his fingers, he realised that it could also resembled a tentacle. Upon closer inspection, he noticed a small glint as he moved it in the sunlight. Gazing at the glint, he saw the shadow of words which chilled him to the bone.
Five words were etched into the rustic surface, and they were...
