*a/n: I've been off in my own corner of the universe, but I figured since this word applies to my life a lot right now, I'd give it a whack. Oh and just so you know, this is the first time I'm writing pre-series. So please don't throw rotten tomatoes at me!
Sam liked September. It was his way of forgetting that he belonged to another family. A family that hunted monsters and saved people for a living, not the apple pie eating yuppie family he craved.
While rifling through a textbook in the library at Stanford letting his mind wander, his thoughts turned to busy college lifestyle. Term papers, extracurricular activities, classes, balancing a social life, and getting good grades were a pain in the ass, but would advance him in the long run.
He could only wonder if the rest of the Winchester family was as busy as he was.
