A Midnight Visit To Princess Moon

"Hello, Moon."
As soon as his voice cut through the darkness, she knew. Her eyes shot open. But she couldn't scream.
A hand slammed over her mouth. Another hand grabbed her wrist and forced it against the bed. Moon fought. She struggled. She wriggled under the heavy mass that hovered above her, kicking her legs against cold air. She did her best to free herself.
"Moon. Moon. Stop fighting."
But those four words killed all rebellion in her. His tone was as sharp as his claws, the claws that were digging into her skin.
"Good princess."
Moon looked up and she could see the blood on his face. Bright crimson stained green scales, dripping over her like rain. Some hit her cheeks. The warmth was sickening.
Toffee smiled and leaned closer to her.
Closer to her ear.
"Or, should I say, Queen?"
