A/N: hi everyone… this is a really random one-shot… I collaborated with my cousin VR to write it… we were just goofing off and totally saw Emmett and Alice doing this while the others were mortified and cracking up in the background. I hope you like it. Okay rant over. Enjoy.
Emmett is pushing the cart, and as food shopping for Bella is a family affair the family was bickering as usual.
"But Emmett," Alice whined, "I wanna push the cart this time!"
"It's my turn! You pushed it last week," Emmett yelled back.
"That's not fair," Alice reciprocated.
"I am so a better driver than you, anyway," Emmett argued.
"Nuh-uh!"
"Uh-huh!"
"Nuh-uh!"
"Uh-"
"Both of you need to learn how to share! Honestly, you would never have guessed you two are centuries old! Alice you can push the left side and Emmett can push the right side," Esme resolved.
"But I want to push the right side," Alice said.
"No way! Esme said I was pushing the right side," Emmett yelled back at her.
Edward, standing at a distance with Bella, looked at the love of his life and commented, "They're such babies!" Alice and Emmett both shot Edward death glares, "Shut up!"
After the scene with the cart, shopping was fairly argument free. Bella picked up a box of 'Frosted Flakes' and threw it into the cart.
"Bella" Edward began, "you should not be consuming such sugary products! It is harmful to your health and I would rather you live as long as possible."
"I am not having this discussion again with you, Edward." Bella said warningly.
"Edward, you leave Bella alone and let her eat whatever she wants –you are not her father you know," Alice said defensively.
"I might as well be," Edward retorted under his breath.
"Gross," Jasper exclaimed.
"What happened," Bella asked confused, "I missed it."
Then as the large family perused the isles they heard from behind them a song that had struck them as strange. "A-a-a-a-ah." "A-a-a-a-ah." "A-a-a-a-a-a-ah." As the Cullens looked behind them, they found Alice and Emmett singing the song from Enchanted that had haunted them since they had seen the darned movie! Poor Jasper immediately covered his ears and begged for mercy. Carlisle, hardly noticing, was on a very important business call. Bella and Edward quickly fled from anywhere near the two, afraid to be seen with them. Rosalie put her head in her hands and said, "What. The…"
"Now Rose. They sing quite lovely," Esme interrupted.
Finally the family was able to leave the supermarket, although not without strange glances in their direction.
"I don't think we'll be coming to this supermarket any time soon," Edward remarked.
