In which Thor tells the avengers of his adventures with Loki, featuring Sif and the warriors three.
"Yes my friends. Loki and I had many a grand adventure. We fought alongside each other for many centuries as brothers. There was the time we fought the triple-fanged-hydra. Would you like to hear that one. It is so great a tale to hear that a deaf man could be forever healed."
Tony picked up his tablet and began to play with that, Natasha and Steve however nodded and continued to listen closely.
"Well friends, it begins with the reason we were there. The Lady Sif and I were training in the gardens when we heard tale of Dwarves in the woods. They had been banished from the area and so, as Prince, it fell to my lot to do something about it.
"I called on my Brother and the warriors three for more company than assistance on our quest, although Loki was on good terms with the Dwarves and could have helped move them along. When we arrived however, we found it was the Dwarves' trick. They had intended to get me killed by the beast. They had however underestimated my company of Mjolnir and the warriors by my sides.
"it was Loki who worked out that if you chopped off a head, you could burn the raw flesh of the neck, singe the flesh before a new head could grow. That was all very well of course, if you could chop the head and burn it in time before more grew or it killed you.
"I suppose Loki saved us many a time, but as always he got bored and decide to just throw his sceptre's magic at the beasts body. Always using magic, he would always work hard to embarass us, would never fight with an axe or a sword. Prefered to throw knives, or spears, or magic. Woman's sports. I am much surprised he did not take a knitting class as some of the women who were too sickly to fight did.
"Loki always prefered to read on his magic than train. He would often sit in the library and watch us through the window. The others teased him about it, but he would not learn to come and train instead."
"Seemed like you were all just bullies. what's wrong with him having a desire for knowledge. From what we saw of him, he seems pretty powerful without your training." As Tony said this, bitter memories of his time at MIT flooded back to him. He was Loki and Thor and the warriors three were the older kids.
"No friend. Man of iron, if Loki would just learn to stop practising his sorcery and to train like everyone else..."
"Then he would not be himself. And you wonder why he won't call you brother."
Nobody had even noticed Tony was listening. He wa rerouting the security systems after SHIELD had managed to break an entire layer of his code. They guessed Tony was good at multi tasking. His mouth ran separately from his brain, they knew that. Tony went back to his work, and just raised a hand to silence anyone who tried to interrupt him.
Thor Seemed to be rethinking his childhood actions and pondered wether Tony was right as he knew he so often was.
So, whad'ya reckon? Is it worth continuing this? If I am going to, then I'm gonna need some ideas. Prompts are more than welcome, they are required. Also, please take a look at some of my other fics, I promise you'll like them more than this, especiallythe frostiron ones.
