This is continued from the ending scene when the ferry explodes

I dropped to my knees as the smoke rose. My heart was pounding so loudly that I couldn't hear the others shouting. So much was happening but all I could think about was my father. He was the one that started all of this. He was responsible. As I collected my thoughts, my eyes went straight to Annabella. My dad may have started it, but she was the one who finished it. I lunged at her, rage replacing the grief. But Captain Baker held me back. I pounded at him with all my strength and reached for his gun. All I could think was that she deserved to die. The strange thing was, Captain Baker wasn't stopping me. In fact, if I didn't know better, he was encouraging me to grab his gun. I jumped as a bullet whizzed by.

"I'm warning you, Sullivan. The next shot won't miss."

I'd forgotten that Esposito was there in his righteous "I uphold the law" bs. Captain baker blocked his gun from my reach and I stopped fighting. "Now let's all address this calmly," Esposito said, pointing his gun at Anabella.

"Do what he says Cat," said Leo.

The panic in his voice calmed me down. Something was different about his tone. I'd heard Leo worried before, but this sounded like he was in pain. I tried to get my thoughts back together. He'd been there for me all this time and now he needed me to be there for him. My mind was racing through all the words I heard since I first pointed the gun at Anabella. "Please Cat," begged Leo, "Please."

That's when it came back to me. His wife and son were taken. "Did you have something to do with this?" I asked Anabella.

She smirked. "NO CAT," said Leo. "It wasn't her. Please, just help me. Please, they've been taken. I'll explain everything."

I looked at Captain Baker. "Go," he said, handing me his gun. "You might need this."

"You're going to give her a gun?!"

"Shut up Esposito," said Captain Baker. "Yes I'm giving her a gun. If you've got a problem with that, take it to IA when this is over."

"You bet I will."

"Go Cat, I'll handle Annabella."

I grabbed the gun and followed Leo to his cab. We hopped in and he quickly backed away. "Start explaining."

I don't know the story line involving Henri, so I'm just going to leave it there. But I will say that Ronnie gets medical help and recovers from his injury.
