Zetsu was sat in the Akatsuki base, reading his brand new 'Gardening Paradise' magazine, when Tobi came in and started bouncing around, trying to get Zetsu's attention.
"Zetsu-sama! Zetsu-sama! Tobi played April Fools trick on sempai!"
Oh damn. It was April Fool's day. A loud BANG echoed through the Akatsuki base and Tobi giggled then jumped for joy, before sprinting out of the room. Zetsu sighed, and followed.
"YOU LITTLE!" Deidara screamed.
There was a yelp, then a thump came from behind the door of Deidara and Sasori's room. Zetsu opened the door, and saw Deidara kneeling on Tobi's chest with a pillow held over Tobi's face. Deidara appeared to be covered in some sort of green goo. It took Zetsu a few minutes to realise that Tobi was being suffocated. Zetsu ran over and pulled Deidara off.
"Why don't you calmly explain to us what happened?" White Zetsu smiled.
"Well, I've been working on this 1 100th scale model of a volcano for ages. It is a work of art, un." Deidara gestured to a misshapen lump of green goo.
"Get on with it! Why are you killing Tobi? This better be good." Black sniffed.
Deidara huffed, then continued. "So today I was gonna test it, un. But then this little idiot switched my hot sauce for green putty so that I got covered in this stuff! I've only just had my cloak dry cleaned, un!" Deidara glared at Tobi.
"Tobi was only having fun. It's April Fools Day! Tobi thought sempai would laugh!" Deidara growled and Tobi yelped and ducked behind Zetsu.
"Back off, girly-boy, or I'll eat you." Black snarled, and the White hand whacked the Black side on the face. "Leave Deidara alone! We're sorry Tobi is such a nuisance. Of course we will pay your dry cleaning bill." White smiled and Black grabbed Tobi's wrist and dragged him from the room. When they were in the corridor, Zetsu let go of Tobi's wrist.
"Tobi you moron! Why did you mess up Deidara's volcano? We should have let him smother you!" Black stared at Tobi, who just said:
"Tobi is a good boy! Tobi is trying to make people laugh! Tobi is going to play tricks on other people!"
With that, Tobi skipped away in the direction of the kitchen. Zetsu groaned.
"Ah, hell." He grimaced, then hurried after the little orange menace.
