Dark and heavy clouds covered the skies, leaving only a tiny ray of light on the horizon, hardly enough to be noticeable. Thunder rolled laboriously out of the heavens and the lightening could be felt crackling in the air. All around him the dusty ground waited for the rain. Trees stood in a cluster, a forest of dense matter, darker even than the sky. All around us, the creatures moved in a hurried attempt to hide but we remained steady. I remember him saying something about hurrying and I nudged my fingers into place. He just stood there as always; hunched over just slightly, his hands in the baggy pants. His eyes looked out at me, dark and wide as though in fear and I could the dark circles that told me he was serious about this. He reached up impatiently and scratched at his ebony hair, huffing quietly. He scowled one more time before trying to smile as my finger hit the button. One flash and we were done. The rain started to fall then, and he looked up at it with a faint smile on his face. I slid the camera into my pocket to protect it and walked over to him. He pulled his head down and looked at me with relaxed eyes. He was more beautiful now with wild hair sticking to his face and yet still standing up on the sides and back. I couldn't help but lean in and kiss the rather pale lips just lightly. He looked at me in shock and I started to walk away from him, scared that I had frightened him away. He grabbed my arm and pulled me back. Lips crashed on lips in a fierce passion. I let him have control, if only for a minute and let the rest of the world slip away. For here, under vicious peals of thunder and streaks of lightening, I'm standing with the man who has turned my life to chaos. And with my chaos bringer, underneath a world of pure turmoil; everything is beautiful.
