Rogue took out a sheet of paper.

"S. Main st." The paper said. She looked at her watch. "He should be here by now! Ah knew that seein' that Swamp Rat was a bad idea..."

"Why chere, y' wound Remy." Remy said. Rogue scowled.

"Remy, what do yah want?"

Rogue grabbed the bridge of her nose when he said, "I want y' t' want me."

"Jus' leave meh alone. Ah don' lahke anyone lahke that."

"But I love y'." Remy said.

"Love is stupid. An' 'sides, we are on opposin' teams." Rogue said bitterly.

"Love is a many splendored t'in'. Love lifts us up to where we belong! All y' need is love!"

"Please don't start that again!" Rogue said angerly.

"All you need is love!" Remy sang.

"A girl has to eat." Rogue reminded him about the institute. Her home. Could she really risk that?

"All you need is love!" Remy sang again.

"She'll end up on the street *sigh*"

"All you need is lo-o-o-o-o-ove!" Remy sang off key.

Rogue glared. "Love is just a game!"

"I was made for lovin' you baby, an' you're made for lovin' me!"

"The only way for lovin' me baby, is to pay a lovely fee." And no, she's not a hooker. The mansion needed cash.

"Just one night, give me just one night!" Remy begged.

"There's no way. Cuz you can't pay." Rogue reminded him.

"In the name of love! One night in the name of love!"

"You crazy fool! I won't give in to you!" Rogue started to leave. Remy grabbed her hand.

"Don't, leave me this way. I can't survive, without your sweet love. Oh, baby, don't leave me this way." Remy sang sincerly. It touched her heart. But she couldn't be caught with the enimy.

She turned around and he looked deeply in her eyes. She looked away.

"You'd think people would've had enought of silly love songs"

He lifted her chin up with his gloved hand. "I look around me and I see it isn't so...ha no."

"Some people wanna fill the world with silly love songs."

"And what's wrong with that? I'd like to know. Cuz here I go, aga-a-a-ain!"

Remy moved his arms around to show her the happy couples.

"Love lifts us up where we belong! Where eagles soar, on mountains high!"

Rogue pulled away and shook her head. "Love makes us act like we are fools. Throw our lives away, for one happy day!"

"We could be heroes! Just for one day." Remy pleaded.

Rogue shook her head. "You, you will be mean."

Remy laughed. "No I won't."

Rogue tried to think of something. "And I'll...I'll drink all the time!"

Remy smiled at her. "We should be lovers!"

"We can't do that."

"We should be lovers! And that's a fact!"

"Though nothing...will keep us together!" Rogue started tearing up, but smiled any way.

"We could steal time, even for one day!"

Rogue smiled at him faintly and sang along with him.

"We could be heroes! Forever and ever!
We could be heroes! Forever and ever!
We can be heroes..."

Remy pulled Rogue close and looked into her eyes.

"Just because I...Will always love you!"

"I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I" Rogue held out the note as they both sang.

"Can't help loving..."

Remy sang "Yo-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-ou." softly in the background.

"How wonderful life is..."

"Now that you're in the world..."They sang softly together.

Remy dunked her downward and kissed her slowly, with no complaints from her.

"Rubber lips." Remy told her.

Rogue smiled. "Ah think we can make this work."

"Even wit' Wolvie and Chuck?" Remy asked, hopefully.

"Yeah, Ah...think it'd be worth it, Remy."Rogue smiled more.
