The Talk

Disclaimer: I do not own TMNT. If I did…Raph's sai would have come a lot closer to Leo's head.

So did anyone else wonder what Donnie meant when he said, "Mikey, remember our talk"? I did, and now I'm gonna tell you what I think that talk would have sounded like.

"Duck!" Donnie yelled as he ducked and covered his head with his arms.

"That's not a duck, that's a pigeon." Mikey said, laughing. He turned around to look at his brother when something smacked him in the back of the head. "Ow! Ooooh, now I get it. You meant duck."

"Mikey," Donnie was using his my-brother-is-an-idiot voice again and Mikey groaned. He sat up from his place on the couch and turned to face his brother.

"Yeah Don?"

"We need to talk." Donnie sat beside Mikey on the couch.

"'Bout what?"

"You remember when you told Raph that his pizza was going to get cold and you had just taken it out of the freezer?" Mikey nodded, remembering last night's dinner. "And you remember when you told him to go squeeze a squid when Master Splinter ran out of ink?" Mikey nodded again, not knowing where this was going. He had thought those jokes were pretty funny.

"Do you also remember when you told Casey to 'bash some heads' when he had a headache?" Mikey nodded again and giggled. Donnie gave him a stern look before continuing. "Do you realize that no one laughed at those jokes?" Mikey looked shocked.

"They did too!" Mikey cried indignantly.

"No, no one laughed Mike. You need to learn when to control your self. Your jokes aren't always funny you know."

Mikey gasped as if he had never heard such a thing. "Of course they are; you're just jealous!"

"I'm not jealous." Donnie told him calmly.

"Fine…your mom's jealous!" Mikey yelled and stormed off to his room. Donnie was left to wonder if his brother actually did have the ability of thought.

Whadya think? I laughed but I just might be like Mikey. If you laughed, tell me, if you didn't…still tell me. When I got the idea for this one-shot, well…lets' just say it sounded better in my head.
