After a long day of fighting crime the Teen Titans all gather into the living room, all but one.
Cyborg replayed the security tape from the bank they saved from a robbery. "Booyah! That guy isn't robbing any bank for a long time!""Yeah! We beat Mr. Visions butt!" Beast Boy shouted as he dug through the fridge.
Raven looked over her book at him. "Why did you call him Mr. Vision?""Well, because he can make you see these vision thingy's so that you can't fight and then he-," "whatever" Raven mumbled."Hey, has anyone seen Starfire?" Robin asked.
"No, but without her we couldn't have caught the bank robber. She caught him while we were all seeing visions." Cyborg said, staring at Beast Boy. He stuck his head out of the refrigerator. "Dudes, can't you take a joke?" "No!" Raven yelled. A huge argument started as Robin ran away to search for Starfire.
Robin knocked on the door of Starfires room. "Starfire?" There was no reply. "Starfire, I'm coming in." he announced. He waited a moment before coming into her room. He saw Starfire lying face down on her bed sobbing."Starfire?" She turned toward Robin and he saw tears running down her face.
"Starfire! What's wrong?" Robin asked as he sat down next to her. "Everyone was wondering where you were." This was slightly true. They were silent for a minute before Starfire said "He placed a vision in my head. I see bad things over and over in my mind. I wish it would stop, but it will not no matter how much I ask!"
Tears welled up in the corner of her eyes. "Who did this to you?" Robin asked. Starfire thought for a moment. "The bank burglar." Then her eyes went blank. "Star! Starfire!" Robin shook her gently. She groaned. "Star! Tell me what's happening!"
Starfire sat up. "I see you, and friends Beast Boy, Raven, and Cyborg. They are talking, no screaming! They are in pain! No no no!" Her eyes turned normal, for her. Then she screamed."Please stop! No more of the hurting of my friends!" She started crying again, and Robin hugged her.
Starfire cried against his chest. Robin stroked her head, wishing that he could take her pain away."It's ok Starfire, we are all fine. Nothing can hurt us now." Starfire calmed down a bit. Her visions started to fade. She looked up at Robin and he wiped away her tears. She stopped crying. "are you certain?" she asked.
"I'm sure." He smiled. Starfire nuzzled herself against Robin. "It looked so realistic. I was so frightened. I thought-," Robin wrapped both arms around her. "It's fine. I understand. I'm sorry that he's upsetting you." Starfire smiled "He's not anymore."
Robin smiled back. He stood up and held out his hand. "You think you can come out? We miss you." Starfire took his hand. She knew that he will help her get through anything.
Her visions that brought her so much pain were gone, for Robin was with her and love removes all pain.
