Alia and the Star Light
Star light star bright,
Alia tilted her head as she looked at the man behind the prison doors. Tom looked at her and walked close
"You should not be down here child, I doubt the prince shall be happy should he find you" she blinked at him then opened the door and closed it behind her and sat by the 'window' looking out to the night sky "Should you not be sleeping?"
"Arthur is having a go at his daddy and Merlin isn't sleeping very well sos I lefted him asleep" she said softly. He walked over and sat beside her.
"So you came to see me?"
"Lady Gwen is upset so I thought I should keep you co-com-...with someone"
"Company?" she nodded and he chuckled as she lent on him
"Lady Gwen loves you mister"
"I love her too" she nodded and looked out watching the stars
The first star I see tonight,
"What star do you look at first?"
"Um..." he looked out and pointed to the brightest one "That one" she nodded "Why?"
"Because"
"Because what?" he chuckled
I wish I may, I wish I might,
"My Arthur once told me that when he was a child like me that he was look at the stars and ask them for stuffs. All you gots to do is look at it and makes a wish"
"is that all?" he chuckled remembering conversations with a younger Gwen.
"Uh huh"
"well...what should I wish for...because Uther is not going to let me go"
"To make sure Lady Gwen is happy and cared for?" she shrugged "Make sure she is happy?" Tom looked down at the child who was scarily wise for her age. He nodded again and looked back to the star.
Have the wish I wish tonight.
"Please keep Gwen happy and safe" he looked back to the child "Keep them both protected and give them good futures"
"Alia" the girl looked to the door and saw Morgana "Come now before you are seen. Remember Tom seize the chance" Alia kissed his cheek then ran out to join Morgana and locked the door again.
