Susan was supposed to marry Derek. It's their wedding day when ZOMG a meteor lands on her, and she grows 50 ft tall. The government locks her away in this secret place where they've been storing monsters. The others are Link, BOB, Insectosaurous, and Dr. Cockroach, but none of them are relevant to my story except Dr. Cockroach. Dr. Cockroach (genius mad scientist) used to be a human (and was actually quite good looking (for a cartoon character anyway...he kinda had a Rhett Butler feel...mustache and all)) and wanted to give humans the power to survive anything, like a cockroach. So he experimented on himself, and it worked...except it gave him the head of a cockroach (but he's still got a human body...which is the premise of my next story...), and he can climb up stuff and not get crushed, and he eats garbage. He's the only monster that used to be human. He falls in love with Susan. He's voiced by the guy that plays "House", which is cool. "He is charming and sophisticated" according to wikipedia. He has a kick butt British accent and calls Susan "my dear". I kinda have a crush on him, don't make fun of me.
ANYway...so months go by (which basically consist of Dr. Cockroach "experimenting" (lolz, sounds perverted, I could make a story just out of that) on Susan to make her small again....but it doesn't work cuz the gov is afraid of his smartness and won't give him any supplies). Then lots of stuff happens aka aliens are gonna take over the world, so the government says they'll let the monsters go free if they go defeat the aliens. So they're like, "K", only Susan's like, "ZOMG I'M JUST A NORMAL INSIGNIFICANT HUMAN I CAN'T DO ANYTHING", but she does and she's like, "ZOMG I ROCK AT LIFE".
Then she finds Derek...somehow, I can't remember...and she's like "Yay! Derek! Let's be a team (they [Derek and Susan] say "team" in every other sentence...that's what Susan wants, to be part of a team (like, an equal), but Derek's a dush and wants her to be his insignificant little wife), and help me get small so we can live happily ever after", and he's like, "No, you're a freak, I love my career more than you, you're supposed to stand in MY shadow and be insignificant, not the other way around". So she's all, "GRRRR I'M FREAKIN AMAZING AND I'M GONNA PERMANENTLY BE A MONSTER CUZ MY HEART'S BROKEN AND I'LL SHOW HIM THAT I AM WORTHY OF RESPECT".
This HAPPENS (somewhere along the way she gets small and then gets big again of her own free will. it ends with everyone flying to Paris to defeat something or another). Sooooo.......they were totally leading this "SusanXDr. Cockroach" thing on...and didn't give it a conclusion.
