Disclaimer: I own nothing…except for the nameless bar?

She loved this place. She observed the surrounding behind her by the mirror behind the counter. As she took a sip of her drink, she watched the couple in the corner booth laugh as the man slowly closed the distance between him and the dirty blonde; couples who weren't as shy as those in the booths stood around the open bar tables whispering with light touches on the arms; those like her who were just enjoying their drinks lost in their thoughts.

The tinkle from the bell hung on top of the door brought the lost souls back from their past and hopeful future as a blonde walked in and headed towards the bar.

She rolled her eyes. "Don't you ever look around you Quinn? "

"Urm, yes I do?" Quinn raised an eyebrow.

Rachel bit back her tongue as she struggled not to explain to Quinn the dangers of not being observant of one's surroundings, like gum on the floor or a crazy machete wielding serial killer…not as if that was someone you often met in a bar. Rachel downed the last of her drink and gathered her coat and purse as Quinn paid her wife's drink.

Quinn glanced back over her shoulder and smiled as they left the bar. It was a special place to both of them. It was where the former head cheerleader and future broadway star had met and reconnected, where they'll meet every Thursday night and when both former nemesis realized the unfamiliar pull in their stomach whenever they met wasn't joy of seeing a familiar face in the city and they've never looked back after Rachel kissed Quinn when the blonde walked the brunette back to her apartment.

"3 years and 5 days" Rachel leaned over the car console to kiss Quinn on her cheek as Quinn drove to their favourite vegan restaurant to celebrate their wedding anniversary.
