A/N: I'm back with my Tawnicentric stuff! Yes! This is my fourth one, so check the other ones out by clicking emaleelilac up there and reading them. You won't be sorry! And do tell if you want me to write more of this!
You close your eyes, only to find them open, staring all around you.
The lights are on this time of night, the sky swimming with stars.
The only time you'll ever really see stars.
You take a breath, feeling the cold breeze hit your lungs, and you smile with pleasure.
You listen to the quiet air and look around.
It's only you, it's only ever you.
You don't even pretend you don't like that, you want to be alone every now and then.
Everyone does.
But this place is where you always go.
It's silver and gold.
The only two colors that make sence while having no sence to them.
And snow pads the ground like grass in a meadow, always falling from the sky, the crystals falling all around you.
And the wind whispers your name, and tells you what you want to hear, and the voice is always different.
The first time it was your mother, telling you she was proud of you.
Once it was Chad, saying he loved you.
Then your dad, saying he was coming home soon.
But he's still not back.
Although, everything is better in Tawni Town, you make your life how you want it to be.
And the sky is made of your eyes, and you could drown in the air, just breathing in the sweet smell.
There isn't one mirror in sight, because you don't need one.
You don't like to look at yourself.
It just reminds you of how much you look like your mom, and of how much she doesn't care.
Then you think of your dad leaving, in the middle of the night, while you were here, you could have stopped him if you would have left earlier.
Then Chad pops up, reminding you that you were never good enough for him, and that you still love him with your whole heart.
And it hurts to think that you don't have anyone to talk to, but you can't help it, people think your superficial.
Nope. Just unloved.
Tawni Town doesn't have a single house, the streets are lined with darkness and light, all at the same town.
Your heart is light and all you can see is what's right in front of you, which is, when it comes down to it, nothing.
And Tawni Town sparkles, but only in your dreams. In real life it's a living nightmare.
The wind is singing.
Somewhere over the rainbow way up high.
There's a land that I heard of once in a lullaby.
Somewhere over the rainbow, skies are blue.
And the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true.
If you could only find that rainbow, your heart would be safe forever.
It's hard to think about really.
The rejection you call your life.
But, you don't really have to here.
You just walk around and take every even breath you can until it's gone.
Because it always goes away.
Your heart it jumping know, as you walk straight into all the colors.
Red.
Orange.
Yellow.
Green.
Blue.
Indigo.
Violet.
The mixture swirls around you, making your head spin, in a good way, of course.
And you walk towards it, preparing to cross over when you hear something.
The faint call of your name.
But this time, it's not the wind.
It's something else, trying to get in.
Before that can happen, reality grabs you and forces your eyes to blink, revealing you dressing room, and Sonny standing above you.
"Are you okay? You were crying." Sonny says to you.
"I was just fine." You say as your eyes glass up with moisture and you blink back the tears.
"I was just fine."
