Eloise ran into the bathroom. They'd been taunting her. Again. She slammed the door shut in one of the stalls as she began crying. She had no friends. Well, Granger was nice. Occasionally. Other times she was treated like she was stupid by the frizzy-haired girl.

Her acne may have cleared up, but now her nose was off-center. That had been today's ridicule. She's finally gotten up the courage to ask out Dean Thomas at the Three Broomsticks. He'd let her down gently, but then Seamus showed up. He'd made things worse. Soon, a group of Slytherins had cornered her about it with Pansy Parkinson as their leader.

"GET OUT OF MY BATHRO-" Came the screech from the next stall over as Myrtle shoved her head through the wall. The ghost paused as she noticed who it was. "Oh hello Eloise."

"Hello Myrtle." Eloise sniffed as she began taking off her cloak and scarf.

"Who was it this time? I'll clog up their toilet so it backs up on them?" Myrtle offered. Yes, that was right. Myrtle was her friend. Eloise felt pathetic. Her only friend wasn't even technically alive.

"Who else?" Eloise cried. "Everyone! Seamus Finnegan, Pansy Parkinson, Blaise Zambini and a bunch of people I didn't even know!"

"You asked out Dean Thomas, didn't you?" Myrtle settled herself of top of the stall door.

"He was at least polite about turning me down." Eloise sobbed. "Unlike his bastard best friend!"

"I'll make sure to back up his toilet." Myrtle reassured her. Eloise sobbed harder.

"I'm considering running off and joining the death eaters! I'm a pureblood! They'll accept me!" Eloise sobbed. "That would show them! I'd torture them all!"

"Don't think that!" Myrtle sounded alarmed.

"Why not?" Eloise yelled.

"You're better than that!" Myrtle slapped her, but her hand went through Eloise's face.

Eloise giggled. "You fail."

"Shut up." Myrtle grumbled. "You can't join them. There's no room in my toilet for two."

"What about Harry?"

"That's different."

"Maybe I'd move into the prefect bathroom." Eloise sighed.

"The boy's one is nice." Myrtle admitted.

"Myrtle you pervert!" Eloise wiped her eyes as she giggled and then blew her nose. Her stupid off-center nose. The tears started flowing again.

"Look, I'd be happy to share my toilet with you. I really would." Myrtle quickly said. "We could both stand up to Peeves and torment those ghastly Slytherins."

Eloise paused. It sounded tempting. Ending her life to eternally torture bullies back. But her parents wouldn't agree. They wouldn't agree at all. They would be terribly sad. They would move on to paradise, and she would be stuck in Hogwarts for all eternity.

"I'll think about it Myrtle." Eloise admitted.

"Eloise?" A voice called from the doorway. "Eloise are you in here?"

"Ooh…Granger." Myrtle smiled deviously and disappeared as loud meowing emitted from the ceiling.

"Go away." Eloise called over the racket Myrtle was making.

"Alright then, but just so you know, Ancient Runes starts in ten minutes. I have those notes you wanted." With that Hermione left.

Eloise waited. Myrtle came back.

"Thought enough yet?" She sounded eager.

"No. It's a big decision. I have to go to class. I'll get back to you about it."

"Tell Harry he's still welcome to share my toilet." Myrtle called.

Eloise walked out of the bathroom. It really wasn't fair. Perhaps she would consider it seriously. But first, she needed those notes.
