Now that that is out of the way, I'd llieutenantntion that this story has a lot of OCs, it is based almost a thousand years after the end of bleach. most if not all of the original characters are long dead.

Chapter 1: the start of a new hero's tale.
A downward slash cut the hollow in two, leaving one man standing alone in a field. "well that was boring, i wonder when they will let me go back to the soul society, this is no work for a lieutenant." He sighs, and runs a hand through his light blonde hair, his piercing green eyes looking out across the field as he sense someone familiar approaching. the man turns around, he sheathes his zanpakuto and gets on one knee in a formal manner, he bows, his Soul reaper outfit clinging to his muscular body. "Oh stop that, youre too formal" a tender female voice says. "Yes m'lady" the man smirks and stands up, returning to his full height of 6 foot 4 "what brings you to the world of the living, captain?".
The woman smirks a little, "stop with those damned pleasantries, you know how much I hate them." She rolles her eyes "anyways, i am here to bring you back to soul society, a suitable replacement has been found to monitor the area." She says with a smile. "Really, thats great." The man smiles and looks the woman up and down, she has long brunette hair and chocolate brown eyes, she was about 5 foot 3 with an hourglass figure, she wasnskinny yet curvy. She noticed his eyes and did a twirl in her captains uniform "you know, the only reason i dont suggest to the head captain for you to have a chance at becoming a captain, is because i would miss you" whe laughs. "I know, and i would miss you" he laughs with her. "Captain..." he stops when she glares at him "sorry, I mean Isabella, i actually did miss you" he sighs.
"come on Matt, lets just head back" she sighs, although she is actually glad to hear those words.
Matt and Isabella walk through a senkaimon, entering soul society. Not a lot has changed since Ichigo's time, they have more techonlogical advancements, but the buildings and the ranks still remain unchanged. "Oh, by the way, captain commander requested a meeting with you, i suggest you hurry" Isabella winks at him as Matt nods and uses flash step to hurry to where the captain commander is.
"you wanted to see me captain commander hitsuguya?" Matt asks, bowing slightly.
"yes, captain Isabella has Informed me of your abilities, and well, with the recent retirement of squad 10 captain Rukia kuchiki, we decided to test you..."
