Data: We will be orbiting Vulcan soon, sir.
Kirk: Spock, are you ready to visit home?
Spock: We are on a mission to survey Vulcan.
Kirk: We're almost there, my friend.

(Interior: Vulcan.)
(A creator leaps out.)
Kirk: Ahhhh!
(The creature a Gorn.)
(Kirk fights him off.)
(Spock does a Vulcan nerve pinch.)
Spock: (Into communicator.) Beam up lifeform 3.
(The creature is beamed aboard the Enterprise J.)
(They notice a dropped tricorder.)
Kirk: Gorn alliance, tricorder.
Spock: He was also surveying.
Kirk: (Picks up sword.) Or hunting.
(Commercial 2:50)
(Interior: Vulcan temple.)
Sarek: No Vulcans are reported missing.
Advisor: Two sir. Nomads to that area. They had
that sword.
(Two men walk in.)
Nomad 1: Yes.
Nomad 2: The creature took the sword.
Sarek: Here. (Hands sword to Nomad 1.)
Spock: Thank you.
(They beam to the Enteprise.)
(The creature is in a security cell.)
Gorn: I did not mean to harm you. I was searching.
Kirk: For what?
Gorn: Dilithium.
Spock: Transporter room, three to uncharted
area.
(They beam down.)
(They use tricodrers, and phasers, on a mountain.)
(They find a full dilithium cave.)
Gorn: There is plenty for everyone.
Kirk: It grows on asteroids.
Spock: On, Vulcan, this mountain, is said
to be an asteroid that crashed, and grew.
Kirk: That, or this a rare spectacle.
(Commercial: 2:50.)
(They have reported their findings to Starfleet.)
Admiral: Yes, it appears that whole area, is, full
of dilithium mines.
Kirk: Well, tell us when you have the cargo
prepared.
(They are given enough dilithium for their ship.)
Kirk: Take us out.
Jack: Where to sir?
Kirk: Second star to the right, and straight on
till' morning.
