"Moshi moshi, Mouri Kogoro Detective Agency…"a little boy named Conan answered."Kudou-kun I have something important to talk to you, come to the Hakase now, I mean right now" Cold female voice was heard from the other side of the phone. "I'll go right now…"Conan said "Ran-neechan, I'm going to the Hakase!"
"All right, just don't come back late okay!" Ran replied from the kitchen.
"Hai!" Conan replied before running out of the Detective Agency and hurried to the Hakase.
The disaster happened in the Hakase's house.
"Kudou-kun…"
"What is it Haibara?"
"I got a bad news"
"Eh?"
"There is no antidote for APTX 4869…"
"Eh? What do you mean there is no antidote Haibara?"
"You heard what I said, THERE IS NO ANTIDOTE!"
"But..but.. why?"
"Because the APTX have been in our body system for too long, our body can't change back anymore…"
"What? Then what am I going to do?"
"Think about a way to let Mouri-chan move on, because Kudou Shinichi can't come back anymore… and the organization now know who we are, we have to leave as fast as possible"
"Fine, I get it. And thank you for all your hard work Haibara"
"Kudou-kun….. Gomenasai"
~End flashback~
"What am I going to do now?" Conan hummed in the telephone booth. "Guess I have to call her to end this all… She has to move on… This is for the best, forgive me Ran" Conan thought before pressing the familiar number.
"Moshi moshi, Mouri Kogoro Detective Agency…" Ran said.
"Ran, it's me…"
"Shinichi?"
"Duh, who else…"
"WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL FOR 2 WEEKS? When are going back?"
"I… forgive me Ran"
"Eh?"
"Ran… can I ask you something?"
"What is it Shinichi?"
"Do you love me?"
"Er… Why do you asked?"
"Just answer please"
"Ye-yes"
"Ran, please forgive me, I can't come home any more…"
"Wh-what do you mean?"
"I can't return…"
-silence-
"Why?"'
"I have to go…"
"Shinichi…."
"Gomenasai, I love you too Ran, please move on and be happy, 'cause I can't never return to your side anymore… Sayonara…-phone hangs up-"
Tears started to form fall from both side, because they can't ever meet each other again, though they love each other, fate is just not at their side. Both have to move on, to survive their life. They have to find another piece of puzzle to complete the shattered puzzle, because each of us is another piece of puzzle.
After the phone call both Shinichi and Conan disappear from Japan. There is no news or anything about any of them. It's like they vanish completely from the world.
