Summary: When Monkey D. Luffy went to sleep, she dreamt. Her dreams were so real, they felt more like memories. How would being a talented swordswoman/magus change her story. Fem!Luffy as the reincarnation of Fem!Shirou.
Disclaimer: I unfortunately do not own One Piece or Fate/Stay Night
A/N: This a trial story. If you want me to continue, review and let me know. I'm new to writing fan fiction.
Prologue
When she slept, she dreamed. She dreamed of fire and blades and of countless battles. She dreamed of a hill of swords.
Sometimes she was accompanied by a white-haired man with grey eyes the color of steel and a black-haired boy with blue eyes, or with a boy with purple hair and eyes. However, she was always accompanied by the knight.
A knight with blond hair and piercing green eyes, one who wore a royal blue and had sworn to protect her even though they both knew he couldn't stay by her side in the future after the conclusion of the war.
She grew, matured, and learned the way of the sword and bow under the guidance of the knight and other companions, especially the white-haired man who was revealed to be more connected to her than she had thought.
He died to buy time for their company's escape and she carried on his will, his hope. Then at the conclusion, the moment was always bittersweet since they saved countless lives but the day they part would be there as well.
That's when she woke up in a sweat
She kept these dreams to herself.
After all, she never knew her father and mother while her grandfather had only visited her a grand total of eight times, leaving her on Windmill Village.
Makino and the Mayor meant well, but they couldn't possibly understand. They were peacemakers, not fighters.
And then Shanks and his crew came along. Shanks was great. He was an easy going man who had his heart in the right place. Shanks who was strong and loyal.
He had caught her staring at his sword once and handed it to her so she could see it.
Imagine his surprise when she gripped it correctly and even went through a kata with it of a style he didn't recognize, especially when she commented on what a good sword it was and its characteristics.
So, how was it? Review and let me know if you have any comments, concerns, or ideas. If you have an idea for pairings, you can add that as well. Should I continue?
