Hiding In The Blossoms
By AnimeDutchess
A/N: Alright...see, Mew is my favorite Pokemon, and if I ever were to turn into a Pokemon, you can bet it'd be a Mew. So, in a sense, Mew here is sorta like an extension of myself. That makes Mew a yaoi fangirl. XD Enjoy!

Disclaimer: I jointly own a copy of the 2 B A Master CD with my brother...but Pokemon? Keh, in my dreams...

Mew knew she was the exact same shade as the pale, pink blossoms that appeared on the trees every spring, and used that to her advantage. She liked to watch humans going about their daily lives, sharing their lives with the many species of Pokemon that dotted the earth.
But there was one human in particular that she liked the most, a trainer, a boy with such large, copper eyes that shone with a mixture of courage and innocence that was rare in today's world. Granted, over the years they had lost their childlike wideness, but they still shined strongly, adding determination to the mix. His hair was as black as a raven's wing on a moonless night, rebellious, even from under his cap. He also had these funny little zig-zags on his cheeks, marking him as different from all others.
He'd only seen her twice; the first time, he couldn't remember, but she saved him from death; her bouncy, pink bubble of psychic energy had been his cushion against being splattered against a wall. The second time, he had helped save her; turns out that he'd been blessed with the miraculous power of Aura, which could do a whole lot more than he thought it could.
On the other hand, Mew had been watching him since their first meeting, slipping away from Mewtwo and the clones in order to experience the world and, on a whim, followed the boy as his journey went on, his companions changing, yet the Pikachu he'd cared so much about still by his side. The Pikachu happened to be quite a good sport and just as kind as his master, but that's off-topic.
Over time, Mew had learned quite a lot about the boy, his friends, his enemies, his rivals...oh, she liked seeing how he would react with one certain rival, the one with piercing green eyes and auburn spikes. There seemed to be some sort of spark between the boys, something that kept on through the weeks of being apart and flared to life when they met up again.
It was facinating to Mew, and after a while, she began to look forward to their next meeting, seeing how each day would work itself out, how each boys' tone towards each other changed from somewhat hostile to neutral, to caring...to something she couldn't even name. It didn't matter if she didn't quite understand; it made her happy to see the copper-eyed boy smile, and if his rival was the cause of that smile, it made her feel strangely warm inside.
So the years went by, and here she was, hiding in the blossoms, her blue eyes widening, a blush on her face, as she saw the two boys do something she'd only seen other humans do.
She saw them kiss.

A/N: XD;; Yeah, just a cute little thing with Mew. I loves her so much...no matter how many Pokemon are made, Mew will always be my favorite. Same with ships; no matter how many ships are created, no matter what becomes canon, it's Pallet all the way for me. Read and Review, please! Ja Ne! - AnimeDutchess
