Title: Perpendicular
Pairing: Lila/Reid
Rating: G
Summary: Lila and Spencer put up the tree.
"It's crooked." Lila called as she leaned back. Spence turns to give her an exasperated look.
"It is not." He looked at the tree again, recalculating the angle.
"It is! Come here."
He sighed and moved over to the couch where she wrapped her arms around his neck tightly and kissed his lips. He pulled back with a smile.
"What's that for?"
"For doing this. I know that you have some bad memories with Christmas."
He lowered his eyes, thinking of all the botched attempts after his father left to celebrate the holiday with his mother. Lila raised his chin, making him look at her. "But you're off and I'm off and we're going to make this the best Christmas ever, so go fix the tree."
He turned to look at the tree again. "It's perfectly perpendicular."
"Then make it a little crooked!" She pushed him, kicking him in the butt softly as he moved back to study the tree. He turned back to her, shaking his head.
"You know, you're so going trick and treating with me next year for this, you know that right?"
She rolled her eyes, but the smile gave her away. "Can't. Famous, remember? We wouldn't get very far."
Spencer shook his head, turning back to the tree. "Wear a mask."
