All Energy Can't be Simply Destroyed, Just Converted
After sacrificing myself to what the Catalysis calls "Synthesis," something felt different like a can feel something around me. Like my being is spread out throughout the galaxy, and that I can feel every conscience that has and will ever exist. I try to focus on the ones that felt familiar, that ones that helped through my journey throughout my very hard existence of the last 5 years of my life. Ah, there they are, I can feel them but I try to some way communicate with them. I can't, like there is some type of barrier. I can feel there happiness but also there mourning over a loss of a good friend, a good leader. I can feel them all communing over a grave that has my name displayed across the stone. I can feel Garrus, Tali, Wrex, Liara, Dr. Chakwas, Grunt, Miranda, Jack, Zaeed, Kasumi,Joker, EDI, and most of people who knew more as Commander Shepard. Eventually one by one they left each of them promising to remember what I did to help unite they galaxy under a single banner and what I did to help them become individuals they are today. The last one who left was Liara, I can feel sorrow, the guilt, but eventually the anger she felt for not being able to share life together. I can feel another presence within Liara like she is pregnant…
AN- I just like to say that all the negative hate on the ending of Mass Effect 3 is correct, they provided no closure on what you did or what happened to the characters. But these endings also can provide much to fanfiction writers.
Also let me explain what is happening, basically Shepard has achieved what it probably take millions of years of evolution to achieve. The ability to shed your body and basically become pure energy. Right now Shepard is stuck because his being is spread across the galaxy you can say this circumstance is similar to Dr. Manhattan from The Watchmen where he has gather his being in order to become corporeal. Shepard can probably either choose to become a organic/synthetic being or choose to walk among the people who he knows as a being of pure energy kind of similar to what Dr. Manhattan looks.
Also who ever is a better writer then me can gladly take this idea and develop it further.
