I Will Always Wait For You - Bilbo x OC

I came home after a long day of work at the Green Dragon. I was earlier than normal. I heard a lot of sound from inside Bag End as I knocked on the door. "Oh no, no, no!" I heard Bilbo's voice coming from the hallway. "There's nobody home. Go away, and bother somebody else. If this is someone's idea of a joke, I can only say, it is in very poor taste."

Bilbo and I have been in love with each other since we were tweens, only a year ago Bilbo asked me to be his. Now we live together, but we are not married.

Bilbo opened the door and froze. "That's a warm welcome, I came home early for you!" I said playfully and tried to step inside, but Bilbo blocked the doorway. "Uhmm...," he said and I heard more voices. I raised my eyebrows and pushed my way inside.

At the table were 13 dwarves and Gandalf seated. "Oi! Bilbo, who is this?" a dwarf with a funny hat asked and all the other dwarves looked at me too. "More importantly, is she yours?" said a dwarf with long dark hair as he winked at me.

"I'm Molly Tunnelly, and I am not an object so I'm from no one, but I am indeed Bilbo's girlfriend, who I need to speak," I said and walked towards the spare bedroom while Bilbo quickly followed. After he closed the door I glared at him.

"I didn't know about this alright?! First there was one and I couldn't let him stay outside and then there came more and now there are 13 and all because I talked one minute to Gandalf yesterday. They are going on a journey of some sort and they were searching a burglar so they came here and uhm, I love you?" Bilbo said really fast with a hopeful smile and I sighed. "I'm going to bed, maybe I'll wake up and all this was a dream," I said and kissed him goodnight.

I woke up to discover that the dwarves were gone. I started making breakfast, because Bilbo was still asleep. On the table laid a parchment, a contract. The dwarves wanted Bilbo to go with them as a burglar. While I was reading it Bilbo came in. "Don't worry, I can't go. I need to be with you," he said as he saw the parchment in my hands. I saw a glint in his eye that I hadn't seen for a very long time. "You have to go," I said and Bilbo looked up from his breakfast.

"I see it in your eyes. Your Tookish side has finally awakened," I said and we looked in each other's eyes. At last Bilbo nodded and went to change in some better clothes.

Later he came back and we stood by the door. "I will miss you," Bilbo said and I smiled. "I will miss you to, but I will wait for you," I said and we kissed, a long time. I watched him go as he ran through the fields until I couldn't see him anymore. When would I see him again?

A very long time later...

From the moment Bilbo left everyone asked me where he was. Rumours spread, the Sackville-Bagginses were saying that I made him left so I had Bag End all for myself. I was not officially a Baggins, so now they were selling everything in Bag End! "Please! Don't take that he loves it! Excuse me!" I said while trying to stop the hobbits from taking everything from the hole. "Molly, just sit down and let us do the work," Lobelia Sackville-Baggins said and before I could protest she dragged me towards an already empty bedroom. I sat on the bed with my head buried in my hands. Suddenly it was silent. I opened the door and looked around the hall. Suddenly two arms slid around my waist. "Missed me?" a familiar voice said and I turned around. Bilbo and I kissed like we never did before. We broke apart and rested our foreheads against each other.

"You came back," I said while looking in those beautiful eyes. "And you waited," He said while grinning. "I will always wait for you," I said and we kissed again.
