A/N: I can't stop squealing like an idiot when I watch this anime so I went to search for it at Fanfiction. I'm already obsessed with this pairing even though they just talked in episode 1. Don't they look like 6918 in KHR? –grins-

Warning: Expect OOC-ness, because author had just watched the anime, not yet the manga—if there's even one. Feel free to correct me.

He woke up in the warm embrace of the man. The raven shifted a little and the other man woke up.

"You're up, Shinya," Shogo mumbled, still sleepy. He closes his eyes once again, intending to go back to sleep.

Shinya did not say anything. He got out of the bed slowly and wore his slippers. Then he tidied his bathrobe and walked into the bathroom.

He looked at himself in the mirror. Why was he here? He was supposed to kill the man just now. Why didn't he pull his gun? Why?

He rubbed his face with water, frustrated.

Shogo Makishima; his old enemy—the human whom he had hated all through his life, the one he wanted to get revenge on. He stared at his reflection in the mirror.

Shinya Kougami, what are you doing?

Why are you in this room with him? Why did you follow him up here, and lay on that bed with him? The raven lets out a low grunt, angry at himself.

He was angry at himself for loving the man so much. Yes, he was his enemy. He was someone who was hopelessly in love with cruelty. He was someone he shouldn't love. Wait, love…? Shinya Kougami doesn't love. He's an Enforcer.

He sighed and walked out of the bathroom with a nonchalant face. Shogo was already wearing his shirt. Without any words, Shinya changed into his usual clothes and walked towards the door.

"Leaving so soon, Shinya?"

He stopped. Then he turned around. Staring at the albino, he spoke, "I have no intentions of being here. I wanted to leave as soon as possible."

Shogo chuckled.

"Aren't you going to kill me?" he asks. Shinya gritted his teeth. "Aren't I your enemy? Kill me, Shinya Kougami. I'm just right here."

Shinya reached out for his gun. Then he stopped. He turned back and left the room without any words. Shogo stared at the door which was slowly closing and his lips curled up.

He walked through the halls and when he reached the lift, he pressed the down button and waited. His mind flew back to the incident just now. Why hadn't he pulled out his gun and just shoot the man? Why did he hesitated when he was about to reach for his gun?

Ding.

The lift reached and Shinya stepped in. The door closed slowly. Of course he couldn't.

No matter how much he hates him, there's always a thin line of feeling between love and hate. And he knows that.
