Percy's POV: In the Poseidon cabin

What to do. What to do. I don't know what to do! I can't think of any ways to tell Annabeth I love her. Maybe it would help if I wrote a list to see all my options.

How to tell Annabeth I love her

Tell a big story about how I've loved her since I first saw her when I was twelve old and about to pass out.

In the mess hall, while the rest of the camp is watching, stand up on the Poseidon table and say I have an announcement. Then yell out I LOVE ANNABETH CHASE!

Plan a romantic dinner by the beach and while she's eating, surprise her by saying you love her.

Write a small letter saying you love her, then have one of her siblings put it on her bed.

Take her underwater in the lake in an air bubble and tell her you love her.

When in a sparring match with her, when you make her fall over and you land on top of her like you usually do, tell her you love her.

Ask a bunch of friends to help you set up a Truth or Dare game and tell them all to dare me at some point in the game to confess my true feelings for Annabeth.

During capture the flag when you feel her run by with her invisibility cap on get her soaked and then grab her and tell her you love her.

Oh what's the use! I won't even be able to build up the courage to do any of those things except maybe the number 4, the letter. Ok I got to do it, I have to pick one. Number 1 is too sappy, number 2 is too dramatic, number 3 is too formal, and number 4 is pretty good. Number 5 I already used for our first kiss, number 6 just shows how clumsy you are, number 7 is kind of childish, and number 8 is kind of mean.

Wait! I have a new idea. I fished in my pockets for a drachma and walked over to the fountain my dad gave me. "O Goddess, accept my offering, Annabeth Chase Athena Cabin." In front of me appeared Annabeth reading one of her architecture books. "Uh, Annabeth," I called.

She looked and saw me looking surprised saying, "Percy…"

"Yeah it's me. Look, I have need to tell you something." I said nervously, my heart beating rapidly. "I love you," I blurted out and then swiped my hand through the IM. What I had not been planning on when the idea went through my head was that Annabeth would actually come to my cabin. She burst through the door with other campers, who looked very confused, looked through the open door. She jumped into my arms, knocking me on to the floor and giving me a nice, long, passionate kiss.

She finally looked into my sea green eyes and said, "I love you too, Seaweed Brain." Then when I stopped looking confused and had a giant grin on my face, she hit my on my right arm.

"What was that for," I yelled.

"For telling me you loved me through an Iris-Message when I'm just a couple cabins down!" I guess I should have gone with numbers 3 or 5.
