I plan on making about 4 or 5 chapters in this story, and they should come out soon. R&R, please :)

Nice to meet you, where you been?

I could show you incredible things

Magic, madness, heaven, sin

Saw you there and I thought

Oh my God, look at that face

You look like my next mistake

Love's a game, wanna play?

Marlene and James were friends for what seemed like forever. Their mums were the best of friends since they've been going to Hogwarts themselves. That way Marlene and James thought of each other more as of family than just friends. One was finishing the other's sentence and they were never bored while together. Marlene was James's first crush, the first girl he'd describe as beautiful, the one he planned to get married to. She knew him better than anyone and vice-versa. That was of course, until they turned 11 and both went to the Platform 9 ¾. The crowd was so big they separated and had to sit in two different compartments. It was there where James met a tall dark-haired boy that seemed rebellious, even at the age of 11.

Sirius was sitting on one of the comfy sofas in the Gryffindor common room with his three best friends, also known as the Marauders, He tried to focus on his transfiguration essay, but his sight kept wandering to a blonde girl sitting by one of the many tables. Apparently her red-haired friend has just said something ridiculously funny, because she threw her head back laughing, her chest rising and falling which, Sirius could see was drawing attention of many 6 and 7 year students present. If he was to be completely honest he would say he felt a slight tint of jealousy, but he quickly shut it down.

Marlene was never a friend of his, they just happened to talk and hang out from time to time, as she was James's friend and she also played in the quidditch team with him. Just recently it happened that Lily Evans which happened to be the red-head sitting with Marlene became Head Girl, and as Head Boy was non other than dear Prongsie these two gangs started seeing each other more often. He could even refer to Marlene as a friend, and that shocked him a lot. He got to learn she wasn't just an ice-queen, someone who he decided she was a long time ago. She was kind, loyal, passionate. She seemed open, but there was just SO much more to her. He could see why all the guys have been attracted to her, yet he didn't want to. He really wanted to still see her as a beauty he was passing on the corridor. The more he thought about it he realised he grew attached to Marlene. He not just wanted her presence, he needed it. She brightened his day with every smile.

"I suggest you stop" he heard Remus say next to him. He moved his gaze to his friend, giving him a questioning look "I know watching Marlene is a great entertainment for you, but I highly doubt you want James to know about your latest fantasies"

"Moony, as much as I think of you as a big brain, you're not making sense sometimes"

When he walked into the kitchen about a week later he noticed a similar blonde sitting on one of the chairs, her hair falling on her face as she was too into what she was reading to care. Next to her there was a bowl of vanilla ice-cream, which she was dipping a spoon into. She moved her eyes from the book and looked at the door to see who came, a smile spreading across her face a few seconds later.

"What's that piece you're into" he pointed at the book

"Just... stuff" she smiled mysteriously "Aren't you at you Friday shagging session"

"Apparently I'm not good enough to catch any" he sighed "Not that you're any better. You're basically stuck with a bunch of house elves and a mountain of ice cream that happens to melt. I'd find a better thing to do if I were you."

"Any suggestions?"

"A guy maybe. There's plenty pants to get into. You'd found one."

"Yeah, okay. Go fuck yourself Black." She rolled her eyes. He could see he was getting on her nerves, but teasing her always cheered him up.

"Seriously. I'd help you get one, but I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the invitations I get. Have you ever even made out with somebody? You seem too much of a …" he eyed her from head to toe " saint" he said trying to make it sound like one of the worst things.

He could see she was thinking about slapping him, she stood up from her place and made a step in his direction. Sparks were flying in her eyes, but he wasn't going to look away.

All of a sudden he felt her lips on his. He wasn't even sure who started it. Maybe she just decided against slapping him, or maybe it was him who couldn't take it anymore, but all he knew now was that he was pulling her closer to him and that her hand was in his hair. He pushed her against the wall, moved his lips to her neck while she pulled her legs around his waist, bringing him closer. She grabbed his face and smashed her lips against his again in a desperate need.

He wanted to go on, but she pulled away lightly and stood on her feet, straightened her skirt and moved towards the door. Before walking out she turned her face, a small smile playing on her lips.

"I think I'm doing well without you help, Black. But thanks." She went out

"Anytime McKinnon. Anytime" he muttered to himself.
