It was a warm summer morning, and I, Dizzy was relaxing in the golden sunshine, outside. I was licking my favourite strawberry ice-cream, when it slid off the cone and fell onto my new, purple beach towel. "Oh no, a great start to my birthday." I groaned. I wiped the ice-cream off with a fresh wipe. "Hello, Dizz!" called Sasha suddenly. "I never knew it took so long to get to your place?" she panted. "Surprise! It does." I said grumpily. "What's with the long face?" she joked.

That's the thing about Sasha, she doesn't know how to make you feel better. What she also doesn't know is when to stop joking. In every other way, she's a good friend. Kind, honest, brave... Her family is also rich. Her dad, Bruce Walters, is a wealthy Real-Estate Agent. He owns about every block of land there is in Birmingham. The thing is, with having a busy dad, she never gets to see him. He is always in some country, buying a piece of land. She misses him terribly, just like I used to miss Storm, my mother. Storm is in India still, living with Zak and his brother Josh. Dad refuses to let me call Storm, or even text her. I love my dad, but he is so strict around my mother. He says he won't let her hurt me again.

"Sasha has invited me to her place for a sleepover, see you tomorrow. Love Dizz!" I texted to my Dad. I quickly gathered my PJ's, tooth-brush, pillow, sleeping bag and a set of clean clothes. "There is no need for a sleeping bag or a pillow, Dizz." grinned Sasha. "We have tons of bedrooms piled high with pillows!" she continued. I almost forgot. Sasha has the best, huge, most gigantic house you could ever hope for. It was built over 6 large blocks of land! Crazy, right? I dumped my sleeping bag and pillow on the floor, and chucked all my things into my favourite Country Road bag. It has purple, blue and yellow stripes running all over it, in a criss-cross pattern. I got it for Christmas last year and I fell in love with it. I take it everywhere, and as a result, it has a small hole on the bottom from when I drop it on the floor so often. Sasha and I started the long walk to her house.
