I felt like writing this as it's further adventures of both Ash and Chomper but growing up and in middle school, having adventures and fun.
It's the last few days of Summer and while Ash is with her grandparents, Chomper is at the Gru house having fun but worried about Ash but also about growing up.
It was now the last week of Summer in Pasadena and in the backyard of the Picclini house, Ash, Chomper her seeing eye purple minion and her mother June were having a cookout but when school started up, Ash would be in sixth grade meaning middle school but it meant that Chomper was starting Middle school as well.
"I hope Mom doesn't burn the burgers, like the last time and she had to ask Lucy for help." Chomper said making Ash giggle
She was looking forward to middle school but anxious too, since it would be way different than elementary school but she knew Chomper had been helping despite being worried about middle school.
"I'm pretty sure Mom knows what she's doing, Chomp." Ash said.
"Yeah but I guess you're going to your grandparents, right for the next few days Huh?" Chomper said as Ash nodded.
"Yep we do it every year remember?
Besides I know I have to learn to rely on myself sometimes, since we're both growing up, or as Mom calls it, puberty.
Besides you can have fun with Dave and Kevin, and do stuff with Pricat." Ash said as he was a little worried.
June noticed he was quiet the rest of the night understanding that they were growing up plus puberty was about to happen.
She knew the next few days would give both of them a little space since Ash had been using her long cane more but Chomper was still part of their family no matter what.
The next day, Ash was packing with Chomper's help but knew Dave and especially Kevin were causing epic mischief but sighed.
He smiled as Ash hugged him making him a little better but was watching June's car pull out of the drive but out of sight.
He was getting ready to go over knowing on a hot day, they were always in the pool.
"Woo-boo, cannonball!" Chomper yelled diving into the pool of the Gru house as the young purple minion male always went over there all the time.
"That was awesome, plus you beat Mark's record!" Dave said.
"Tankyu guys, plusvAsh won't be back from her grandmother's for a few days but we're just anxious, about middle school, you know?" Chomper said sitting under a shady tree wearing Ray-bans.
He didn't like getting burnt but had put protection sun screen on, seeing Lucy chasing Kevin to put sun screen on.
"You have nothing to worry about, plus Pricat is starting middle school.
She's here somewhere, but you guys have been having fun." Kevin said joining them.
Chomper blushed at that, giggling making Kevin understand, as they were getting ice cream especially seeing the truck as Gru sighed.
"On your marks, get set, go!" Mark yelled as they were going after the truck but Chomper had gotten it to stop along with Kevin making the other minions excited but Gru shook his head.
"This always happens, bit it's good plus there's only a few more Summer days left." Pricat said eating chocolate ice cream as Chomper was beside her.
"You're worried about Ash right, Chomp?" she asked.
"Yes, but we're family plus Mom says we're growing up,or in her words, puberty." Chomper said making air quotes as she giggled.
"Marcie is starting high school, but you're lucky since Ash is gonna be in middle school just like us." she said.
He nodded as he was excited but running around with her making Dave and Kevin chuckle.
Things were going to get curious and curiouser plus there were things Chomper wanted to ask June about since she was home after dropping Ash off.
